I haven't done a single training ever since Energizer. Just been to the gym to do weights, stretching.. tht's all. Will start next week la.... Hahahha.... indulge in ice-cream.. cakes... but still, managed to keep my weight in check. rclxms.gif

Weights and stretching is good enough, tenno. Strength training.
I on the other hand, haven't done that in ages!
I think I'm gonna use the free 14 day pass Celebrity Fitness that I got from the Energizer Night Marathon
at Celebrity Fitness Wangsa Walk.

Have any of you guys/girls used the pass already?
Any strings attached?

Good stuff, been using it for over a year edi. The only thing I'm upset about is there's no timer function. There is the interval timer, but even that one also quite hard to use... apart from that, the best training aid below RM1000 I'd say...

Do you have the foot pod as well, tenno?

GTOforce,

tenno is right, dude. That workout is pretty intense. From what you wrote down, I can see that there might be 3 possibilities that can contribute to your injury :

1. You said you're an amateur.....those workouts you're doing there seems to be overstraining your lower body.
2. Intense workout. You should lower the intensity....you've been maintaining the intensity for 3 months??? That's basically asking for injury, gtoforce.
3. If the shoe is suitable to your foot type, then probably your running gait is injury prone. Looks like you have splints. There are lots of mechanics involved in one's gait while running. I was so prone to injury until I shifted to POSE technique running. Before that, I've suffered shin splints, knee pains, ankle problems, etc.

Try looking into these and that should help you find the answer to your problems. We can't tell what your problems are. You have to experiment, and find out yourself.

*It is also vital to listen to your body. If you feel pain, stop. Resting and taking a breather for a couple of days can actually improve your performance in the long run.
