When a scorpion sting,yes it will inject venom inside.But some r just dry sting.Wat i think is,those use their pincers(chela) more than their stinger,the sting will inject venom as they will b in very aggressive or stress mood.For those use stinger more than pincers,u may just get a dry sting,which means it stings u but no venom injected.But then again,usually those scorpions dat sting more,the sting will b very painful or sometimes fatal.
As for the drunstick part,i'm not sure.But if u wan to feed the drumstick to T,then u should just remove the drumsticks for T and let the scorpion eat the cricket.

AFS dont sting their prey. They just catches them and feed upon it. Dont worry. But then again you should have remove the hind legs and feed it to your T's and the rest of the crix to the scorp.
Judging from the pic i have to be frank with you, I cant sex it.. too dark... can you take a pic of its enclosure for us.. Cos it look kinda small for the scorp..

even 6 months with 3 of my afs , i dont even see them moving thier stingers , its totally rare for them to use thier stinger i hope to see xD

2 of my scorpion's stinger were cut by licensed pet shop to confirm more safety for newbies like me , but they did not cut it infront of me , they juz cut it while afs were being imported to the shop okay ? and substrate is whole lot better now , juz give me sometime to take pic = P was having test haha < to Demon >

Actually,it is the best dat they dont use it.Cos if they use the stinger,means they r very stress or aggresive.Or another reason is bcos ur scorps' stiner ady being snipped,so they dun use it anymore.Just my guess

fallenAngel , maybe u can might get a bigger tank for ur afs ? they need bigger place haha well for my experiences xD as thier size are huge , try to juz drop crickets inside few times a week then putting mealworms xD u can juz enjoy them devouring crickets Muahaha

i meant by the bigger place is like last time i use to rare my 3 afs in tank like his and they fight for shelter and push each other out from hiding place so it might stress them tat is what i was trying to say . and hor! when will my subadults molt xD its been the 1st day i got them they were still at this stage haha xD i juz hope thier moults will be successful and i wish to breed my afs xD 1 mature male and 2 subadult female which almost the size of the mature male so as i think it might left one more molt to fully mature stage xD

The best way is not to wait for them cos u wont knw.But there r sign like refuse food and bcome bloated.But refuse food doesnt mean dat they wan to molt ady,mayb they just dun wan to eat.Just feed them and mist them regularly.

Looks good but u might wanna remove the food dish containing mealworm, totally no use as scorp with larger claw is ambush predator which mean they usually wait at hide for prey to pass by them and ambush them rather than going out to hunt for them

My scorp with no mites also usually does that

Telson color for Pandinus and Heterometrus indicate their age
White= babies, cream= sub adult, dark red/black= adult (Exception for H.Pettersi and H.Laoticus or perhaps more)
