i think carceres will play a major role today. His performance against Inter was marvellous, he was like a wolf hunting down every ball biggrin.gif

yups...its been a while since i watched juve player battled it out in our colours... I rather he started as CB
than legro lol tongue.gif but the problem is the right hand side gonna filled by our average RB like grygera @ zebina sad.gif

just watched the game until 86 min now. No chance. Bye² UCL, hye europa
league. We're been dominated from start to finish just now.. Clearly the worst
Juve side to played in the ucl..what the heck 4 goals and conceded about 6.
Heck ranieri side much² better even we're in tougher group last season sad.gif

FT Juventus 1-4 Bayern

**the worst juve side i'd ever saw playing in the ucl. We're nvr failed to top the group since 2001 and
this season we're just out from UCL "in style" with just 3 goals scored & 7 conceded and the most
importantly...get trash like hell in our own fortress. tongue.gif

its europa league time now...

Guess ciro gonna be at the center of the fan rage now lol...

Anyway credit where its due. Bayern deserved it more than us coz they're playing to win..while us
playing not to lose after the first Trez goal. Well served u right for being defensively..

here wat i mean when i said my quote above, playing at home...great home record against the same
opponent, and like us they don't even have the full team. So wat did went wrong? Yups...the
winning & not to losing mentality. No Gio in the lineup and we're subbing del piero for poulsen
in half time when its 1-1 the scoreline. Surely Ciro planning to sit back the whole 2nd half.
Bayern won and outplayed us real bad coz they want to win..while we just want to keep the
one goal advantage until the full time. And the result....welcome to the Europa League thumbup.gif

Sigh this is really disappointing....

2 of the teams I support are out of UCL (the other is Liverpool). Both of them are current undergoing the same type of crisis. I wonder am I a jinx or not...

I was wondering..momo din't start right? Whenever canna or chiellini is missing, our defence is in big trouble....

Did we play in the zebra stripe shirt or gray shirts?

QUOTE(noir7559 @ Dec 6 2009, 12:33 PM)
we just win one of them most important game this season...but still im not
convinced by ciro
. But at least he did make good subbing by not put in dat
useless tiago. Hope marchisio can put the same show he did last night when
we face bayern next.
now i'm quoting my quote. Our "lucky" wins against inter was no way ciro effort. It was the player
like caceres, chiellini, momo, melo, marchisio, diego who give 110% performance(+ luck) dat give
us the win. Coz ciro is more like ranieri predecessor who like defensive/afraid to attack mentalities.
I mean who would subbed Del Piero for Poulsen when the score is 1-1? Coz were playing not to lose
for the remaining 45min.

Hate to say this but our performance in UCL this season (been outplayed by all of our opponent)
is not enough for the UCL, but for europa league. Now we're in it. sad.gif But it maybe blessing in disguise
to our team. Anyone think we could go far with our 'rookie' coach and pathetic play (4 goals with 7 conceded
wat ta heck?). And i don't think this team stand a chance against the like of United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Barca
or even the improving Madrid when teams like maccabi, bordeaux & bayern make us look like 3rd rated team.
Heck even Sevilla & Porto could even crushed us real bad right now. mad.gif

Now we "could actually" win something (europa league quite easier compare to UCL)
but if ciro still on the helm when we start europa next year + our jekyll/hyde performance..heck
i think we're gonna crashed out early if we meet some formidable opponent like valencia etc. doh.gif
Nope i think valencia too strong for juve when maccabi & bordeaux can make fun out of us shakehead.gif

**btw were playing with our legendary zebra stripe kit last night...

Europa league might not be necessarily easier. A lot of big seeds in UCL have been pushed down to EL as well. It looks like a mini-UCL now...

Ciro is probably playing too safe. With Juve's attacking flair and talent, maybe spalletti's tactics will be more suitable. Maybe, its time to give some strikers a chance to manage, like Vialli (he did a pretty good job at chelsea).

We should switch our kits too. Seems like the gray kits are better talisman tongue.gif

nope i will say it directly....Ciro pls OUT..NOW!! vmad.gif

i hate team who like to play defensively/negative/anti-football...and dats include
my team. I hate the coach who like to use more defensive minded player than
offensive player when in the certain situation we need goals.

yeah i agree with u. With the coach and team like this(we have mix of good & bad players mind u)
europa league oso would be impossible to us right now.

Sh*t la this defeat too hard to swallow la...just look at the match statistics..i rather we lose
like 0-5 or something with our team giving a fight than losing when try to played defensively
even-though u know u suck at it(no chiello/momo). The plus is we got run riot all over the park
and i felt sorry for buffon. He didn't deserved to pick the ball out of his net 4 times. It could be
6 or 7 if bayern take their chances doh.gif

That's a hard pill for buffon to swallow. Now Manniger must be worried sick over his shields with many holes in front of him. Manniger, you're the only other person I trust in defending left! (besides chiellini, canna's age is really catching up).

What we lack is depth and consistency. Melo's great when he's on form, but when he's off-form, the ball doesn't get forward enough. Luckily for us, Marc is back.

Ciro, with only the league to play for, don't play safe anymore. Its ok to be adventurous now, espec now we need to catch up with Inter. We got good attackings and speedy wingers, let's make use of that.

i doubt it. No way he's gonna change his style with attacking play shakehead.gif

btw here's a little comparison with Juve 08/09 and 09/10 UCL major squad

JUVE 08/09 under ranieri;

Buffon,Grygera,Mellberg,Chiellini,Legrotaglie,Ariaudo,Molinaro,De Ceglie,Knezevic,Salihamidzic,Marchionni,
Zanetti,Giovinco,Sissoko,Tiago,Poulsen,Rossini,Esposito,Camo,Nedved,ADP,Trez,Iaquinta,Amauri.

JUVE 09/10 under ferrara;

Buffon,Caceres,Chiellini,Melo,Grosso,Salihamidzic,Marchisio,Iaquinta,ADP,Amauri,Manninger,Zebina,Camo,
Trez,Poulsen,Molinaro,Giovinco,Grygera,Sissoko,Ariaudo,Diego,De Ceglie,Tiago,Immobile.

compare both team above and u can see team ferrara lineup is LOOOTT better than team ranieri lineup. But
result said otherwise rolleyes.gif

Team 08/09;
Juve 1-0 Zenit, Bate 2-2 Juve, Juve 2-1 Madrid, Madrid 0-2 Juve, Zenit 0-0 Juve, Juve 0-0 Bate, Chelsea 1-0 Juve, Juve 2-2 Chelsea

Team 09/10;
Juve 1-1 Bordx, Bayern 0-0 Juve, Juve 1-0 Maccabi, Maccabi 0-1 Juve, Bordx 2-0 Juve, Juve 1-4 Bayern

Conclusion;

our "average" team under mediocre coach(ranieri) can top the group containing heavyweights Real Madrid & uefa cup/super cup
champs Zenit with no lose and 2 impressive victory. Heck, the same zenit who beat bayern by 4-0 scoreline a season before can't
even defeat our "average" squad. Our only defeat comes at the hand of mighty Chelsea at the bridges whereas we played on par
with them in both game . But our "supposed to play like Barca" team this season can score just 2 goals in 2 matches against the
weakest team in the tournament(no goals scored all matches lose). So wat's really the prob? Don't bother to tell....we all know wats
the real problem... nod.gif

Even Juventus fullback also defensive type. Buffon surely cant help his team from being battered if they not have ball posession.

average player + inexperience/defensive minded coach + wrong sub
depending on situation = total phailure mad.gif

if it wasn't for buffon we could ended up last in the group. He make some crucial
saves against bordeaux in the 1st game & maccabi in both games. So heavy
defeat yesterday totally wasn't his fault. Hate to say this but its the truth, and
truth hurts...most of our department from attack to defend SUCKS big time.

Only camoranesi, marchisio, caceres, buffon were playing with a winning
spirit yesterday but still..it wasn't enough.

hopefully ciro will learn something from this painful exit. Anyway, i rather he stay on as Juve coach than change coach in the middle of the season.

And please please get rid of Tiago & Molinaro (the mess that Ranieri made) and sign some good players to provide more depth especially in defence.
