If I'm not mistaken, Palm Zire 71 is selling for RM1128

for bundling details you will have to ask the vendors, some might provide you the Essentials Kit.. but do try to persuade them for a screen protector the very least if they are not gonna bundle.. try to scout around, ask lotsa questions.. and "bodek" a bit.. :þ

My friend recently got the Palm Zire 71 and i've played with it and find it quite ok and the camera quality is good.. however, you can only use the camera at one time, means when you slide open the camera you'll only have access to camera.. (well, duhhh..) The slider is aluminium if i'm not mistaken (thick, dun worry) and you'll find your fingerprints sticking to it.. that's about it i guess..

for the sd card matter, i don't think there is any problem.. only that it has problems reading the cards but Palm has released the patch for it so be happy about it!

well, 64mb should be in the range for +/- RM130 and for 128mb.. more than that, +/- RM200

HP1940, i'm not clear with the pocket pcs..

but my advice is to go to the shops and get some hands-on with the handhelds and see which suits you the most..

I've seen the Pocket PC operating system before and it is a lil' complex to my liking.. like WinXP on the go.. i somehow am very much more comfortable with the Palm OS, the simplicity wins hands down!

The Zire71 camera isn't the best quality camera of all. If you buy Zire71 for the camera, you might just wanna buy a cheaper palm without camera and then spend the money you saved on a digicam.

I'm at home now, can't really remember the prices of SD cards. Will let you all know the prices tomorrow. And so far, I haven't received any emails from the dealer about any price increase.

the Zire 71's camera is not too bad.. 0.3Mpixels.. respectable quality for it's kind la..

btw actually i was looking for something with the sd card
i kinda like the palm OS after using too much microsoft product getting alittle bored
