Congratulations on ur new purchase! You can either transfer the contacts manually; as in copy them batches by batches onto ur SIM and then import the contacts from ur SIM to ur i3Gs or use the other methods as mentioned by other forummers.

Maxis will monitor it for U but U can always check via Settings/General/Usage. Data usage is calculated for both download + upload.

No definitely NOT! The 3.0 will give you Internet Tethering which is what I like about it. But it's not gonna give U the kinda speed the i3GS can give U

As mentioned, it's a worldwide shortage. There's no point in speculating when the i3GS will arrive but I would definitely say 1 month should be a good enough gauge

Whether it's worldwide shortage or it's stuck at customs; we're still gonna have to wait for the i3GS so let's just wait and not get too hyped up over it here

Er.. 1 week for transporting the thing to another place in KL is ridiculously LONG, IMO. Y don't U ask if U could go pick it up instead?

Different regions are shipped with different Model Numbers plus configurations are also different across their many Network Providers.

Am quite sure FuYoh won't be bringing the iPhones into MY. Celcom didn't bring it in because they didn't think it was viable. We should be glad Maxis decided to bring it in; am not sure how much $ they're making from it + the Malaysian market isn't big enough should all the telcos bring it in. Apple will be the only one laughing to the bank.

And Yes.... it supports Chinese! Even Korean/Japanese/etc.
