symbian is an OS that enables you to install softwares,games and enhance your mobile experience like windows u can install many stuff. Non OS phones to add more features u need mod or buy a better phone

2. Budget - below rm300

3. Specs-

camera
colour screen
if can, no joystick(like most SE phones)

4. Type/Size.- any type of keyboard style,

p/s: currently i'm thinking to buy w200i, but it use joystick instead of buttons for directions.
so, any other models?

Hi, I'm hoping to get a new phone under RM800, with the following features ;

a) Huge inbox (something like nokia's with their 1000s of messages, i kinda receive a lot of work-related messages and it's an issue to delate them sometimes)
b) Decent camera (take pics)
c) Good battery life

Walkman, games etc are not required as I don't use them.

Any recommendations? Thanks in advance for advice given.

seriously.. although W902 has 5mp camera..
but the camera is not as good as W902....

better go for N82 / N79

no.. symbian phone is a smartphone..
it can install many apps.. including java software too...

so.. its more powerful than the phone with no - OS

the SE that is symbian is SE Idou and Xperia.....

most of SE isnt smartphone.. .. thats why people like to use.. because its easier and more simple..

but for me .. Nokia Symbian is the best... wink.gif

4. Type/Size - N/A. Main concern is the GPS and sms user friendly. Maybe touch screen too.

If you can wait, then wait for E72. E72 is upgrade version of E71. (Actually basically they only change the 3.2MP camera to 5MP and some layout design changing)

you can buy new one for only RM 640 with free 8GB M2

you can buy N78 - RM 780 with free 2GB MicroSDHC

free GPS sounds impossible...cz most of da phones comes with AGPS so u r charged for data usage.

my question is, is it worthy to spend RM600 to get OMNIA II instead of Jet?
600 can bring me:
MUCH bigger screen
better user experience
more flexibility in usage of phone (can install apps)
of cz can show off too
