I get the price from Mobile Magazine. Sorry if the price is in-correct. Anyway I believe soon will drop to that price as the price at sing now is SGD$ 730 (this time definitely correct) means around RM 1770.

I love Samsung Pixon 12 also, but i still waiting on it, hehe ,,, as I love 12mega with Jet software. Ops....or Symbian...

The only phone I can think about it is "Samsung Star". For budget around RM 1k, they is not possible to get Touch phone with 5MP. Sorry dude. SE brand is even more impossible as they not out any full touch phone yet except Xperia which is far behind than your budget and I not recommended it due to it lagged issue.

Samsung Star Specification:
- 3 inch 262k WQVGA LCD
- 3.2MP camera fix focus (This phone is good under good sun condition, but not for night time as they don't have any flash)
- GSM phone (no 3G support)

* You may considered another similar phone, Samsung Star 3G (not yet release at Malaysia but already release at Singapore, this phone have LED flash, and 3G but smaller 2.8 inch QVGA 16M color screen and shall be around RM 1k to RM 1.1k)

The person asking for SE or Samsung ma

For below 1K, I can't recommended any. [Maybe LG Viewty but this phone is kinda old already, it is 5mega pixel auto focus]

with 3G, then how about Samsung Star 3G (release soon)

If your budget around RM 1.7k then is more choices.

LG KC910 Renoir is RM 1.6 ~ 1.7k (This phone ok la, no comment ask I never try, and from internet, their 8mega quality is OK but not the best)

For SE, I suggest C510, my friend just get the AP set at price of RM 670 last two weeks. I think is much more lower now. Original is RM 899

Samsung Ultra Touch is out at Malaysia since April 2009, I am the owner of it, he he official launch is RM 1899 and now around RM 1695 or less can get (price on May).

Samsung Jet not out at Malaysia yet, you can only get it at Singapore at the moment. This phone just release less than 2 weeks worldwide.

No issue using Singapore set at Malaysia. You may only face warranty issue, as I know Malaysia Samsung won't service any samsung phone not under FMG distributor. You may need bring back to Singapore if you face any issue during warranty period.

I am really happy with the Samsung Ultra Touch camera quality, the photos is stunning!

Yes it is Cybershot series, please click the spoiler on my previous post for sample photos taken with C510.

C510 and C702 both similar. C702 for me the design is extremely ugly. C702 more expensive due to it splash and dusk resistant case.

Another phone you may considered, I just miss out ..haha...

If you choose AP set, make sure the Flash themes is still inside, this phone preloaded with few (at least 3) coolest flash themes.

All new SE came with Adobe Flash like themes.. It is animated, each themes preloaded with different style of icons. (You shall at least seen 3 different kind of icons set in at least 3 type of flash themes)

Flash themes is difficult to re-install back as they store the flash file in different location which is not accessible by end user (unless you use 3rd party program manual access it)

All SE phone flash themes and games will missing once the phone has been hard reset by user. You still can get back if you updates the firmware.

Nokia 5800 is Symbian S60 v5 phone.

HTC Diamond is Windows Mobile 6.1 phone.

5800 do have office application, but I not sure it provide with editable version or not. If not you can purchase it (legal way la).

But if you need better office editing, I think Windows Mobile more suitable for you.

For price around RM 1.2k, not possible to get any new HTC windows mobile phone.

SE W995 is one of the greatest phone release by SE. Their 8.1 Megapixel is great and better than C905. One of the best SE Walkman series phone.

Nokia 5730 looks like a XM version of E75. E75 is bad, the keypad, especially that QWERTY pad is crap, too hard to press and the phone didn't slide up which look really weird and not so convenient to use.

I recommended you take W995. But sorry as I know no SE Walkman, Cybershot series phone can read Excel or documents file. Only Nokia Symbian & Samsung Symbian is capable to read and edit office documents. All Samsung TouchWiz phone is capable of read only but not edit.

Even they not mention support, but it is support, I use b4 Pixon and Ultra Touch, and both support on it.

How about increase to around RM1.7k to RM 1.8k? Then you can get better camera phone:

- Samsung Jet (5MP, WiFi)
- LG Renoir (8MP, WiFi)

At both front and back 5MP? Sorry, they is no phone with front camera 5MP, all came with 0.3MP for front camera.

Viewty Smart - I like the design and interface, but review said the camera quality not good. (I never seen yet, I think not out yet also)

LG Arena - same interface as Viewty Smart, ok ... not bad....

No idea when Samsung Jet will be available. I believe soon.
