For a newbie anything is impossible. For most phones A-gps is an option. U use integrated gps its FREE if u enable a-gps then it come with a fee to improve lock time.

1. Brand: (following order of preference) Nokia, HTC, Samsung

2. Budget: no more than RM1500

3. Specs: Must have good music playback (just like my old W810i ), WiFi enabled, at least 3.2-5 MP, GPS.. And i wonder if I can also ask for a durable phone haha (i tend to drop my phones a lot)

4. Type/Size: Preferably candybar BUT those not with a full touchscreen. Slide phones are ok too

So far I've only looked at N79, HTC Touch 3G (the sound was quite bad), and those Samsung touchscreen phones lol

Please help.. Music playback is quite important for me coz i use it when i'm commuting and studying. Thanks all!

may consider of Nokia 5730..

consider N79. HTC phones mostly are prone to damage if drop alot due to touch screen

Hi i'm currently using SE W830c...feel like changing it (lolx)


1. Brand: Still SE (cuz of i like their design)

2. Budget: Around 700 will do. ( i dun have that much of money)

3. Specs: I don't use mp3, ipod, etc...so i prefer to listen using my phone...and i like to take photos too! (lazy to bring camera each time)

4. Type/Size: my previous used one Nokia 5300 and SE W830c were quite bulky..so i would prefer if it's slim...and..i think i can have another slide phone for the third time (lolx)..though i think flip phone is quite good (but i like large screens...i have lots of pretty wallpaper and sreensaver to look at)

I would be glad if u all can give roughly ideas on what is the next type i can consider to buy (or you would like to sell those to me in cheaper price) i would appreciate it very much. I think SE w995 and w910i's designs are quite good; but i have a fren who disagreed with w995 and 2 who said w910i sux (alwiz hang)....so yeah?

w995 is not in your budget...it is RM 1700+++

the handphone[slide] that suits your budget is SE W910 , SE W595

and between SE W910 and SE W595 .. W595 is better than W910 becoz.
- cool design.
- has 3.2 mpx camera[higher resolution than SE W910]

the other features.. is almost same as W910

Hi, I'm hoping to get a new phone under RM800, with the following features ;

a) Huge inbox (something like nokia's with their 1000s of messages, i kinda receive a lot of work-related messages and it's an issue to delate them sometimes)
b) Decent camera (take pics)
c) Good battery life

Walkman, games etc are not required as I don't use them.

- incoming sound loud and clear (u know la...old ppl sometime cant hear clearly)
