I just don't like him actually.Dunno why. I like the Law father-son duo in Tekken, so him being a Bruce Lee inspired character is no problem to me.

Sure.
I'm on the PC version now (GFWL id - DarkstalkerCvS) so if anyone wants to catch me, I'll be on there. Probably on the PC version more, cause the family TV everyone uses. If someone wants to set up a date to fight me, I'll try to catch you then. Or if you just see me, just drop me a message. However, if you wanna review matches or tactics or whatever, and have the PC version, catch me there instead. I got a mic, so easier to chat instead of typing. |

QUOTE(fremont88 @ Jul 4 2009, 12:19 PM) I bought mine at TSB (The Software Boutique, SS2) this morning, 119 ringgit. The topic in Gamer's HIdeout has like at least 3 other people getting their copies today, and those arej ust from that topic! If you wanna get it, best to call in advance and ask for them to hold a copy for you. I got it because I play PC more than PS3. The online is...similar. Haven't tried championship mode, but with locals, mostly lag free, occassional lag spike, just like PSN. So if got any problem, more likely it's the lines rather than anything else. EDIT: I remember seeing Arcade Sticks there! 2 TEs left, 689 each 2 HRAP3s left, 389 each 2 BlazBlue HRAP3s left, 440 each I was there 11 am this morning, so dunno if still go now. Well, its ok la, your choice also, cant force you to keep with the PS3 version if the online mode is better on the PC.
I'll just stick with my PS3, almost like my wife de the thing |

So, after playing more on GFWL, I can speak of some differences. Not very major, but still.
Positives - MUCH easier to get into games, haven't had to spam invites at all - I think the interface is easier when it comes to reading messages and game invites, where you just press the button and instantly you get to the message (as opposed to going to the menu, scrolling to messages etc) - Less random DC compared to PSN Negatives - To invite people from the lobby, you need to type out their names. You could also invite from friend list, but you gotta press Home, then go to friends, then click that friend's name, then only can invite, which is tedious. - No way to control opponent's mic volume from your end that I can see (was a problem cause some guy had some screwed up mic) Same for both - Random lag spikes. GAHHH |

You've set it up already? What's your GFWL id?
GFWL - DarkstalkerCvS And if you don't mind, I'll post your GFWL id in the Gamer's Hideout topic too, more people to play with or see it. |

I was thinking of upgrading my video card & buy the PC version as the lag on the PS3's PSN is just unbearable. Looks like I'm having second thoughts now ... Anyway, enjoy the PC version. The graphics sure looks pretty on that one. Try looking at Crimson Viper's glasses at the mini movie before the start of a match. You'll notice that the PC version has reflections while the PS3 doesn't. EDIT:Oppssss. My bad. Actually Viper's sunglasses reflects the surroundings. So to accurately compare graphics quality, you need to use the same background in the PS3 as that on the PC - in which case you'll notice that both platforms do show reflections on her sunglasses. Still, if the PC settings is maxed, the graphics look better on it than the PS3. This post has been edited by pmg: Jul 5 2009, 09:46 AM |
