My method is the lamest i guess, but for me, it gets the job done...
juz tap M-L-M-L and end it with watever button u wanna execute the move.
Works fine for me while doing gen's last trial...

Woa rawfish, that's a pretty cool mod u have there.
I'm still working on mine. A HRAP3 and a TE. The problem is, i did not do much research when ordering ur bulk so i'm stuck on using the TE original red bezel. Pretty tough to work out an art that goes well with the colour scheme... damn... Pretty busy this past few weeks... will definitely post up some pics once mod is done... |

QUOTE(brastel @ Jul 28 2009, 03:09 AM) Oh and apparently there's this RG buttons from sanwa, supposed to be of better quality but they're kinda expensive. Around rm20+ per button. RG buttons are suppose to last 5 times longer... but the price is kinda steep,it's 580yen per button so in conversion, it should be around rm25 if brastel were to bring those in coz no shipping or taxes or thingamajigs involved... |

QUOTE(brastel @ Jul 28 2009, 08:53 AM) Yeah though the colour choices for RG and non-RG buttons are the same (based from the sanwa website, i havent check the shop in akiba yet).. For HRAP3, snap ins or screw ins will work fine.Anyway, i have a question regarding OBSF and OBSN buttons, i know the OBSF = snap and the OBSN =screw or something(correct me if im wrong), can i mod a hrap3/te with the obsn buttons instead? (just wonderin, im getting the OBSF anyway) For TE, better to use snap ins. The metal mounting for the joystick in the TE will obstruct the screw for the X button due to the dual mounting compatibility (Sanwa JLF and Seimitsu LS-32 stick) If you're using sanwa screw in, it's tougher coz the screw is thicker and wider, for seimitsus, using a little force will be enough to force it in, worse come to worse, juz sandpaper it a little. Of course there are other ways of working thru it but recommended to juz get snap ins if modding the TE. Hope that helps. |

QUOTE(mofonyx @ Jul 30 2009, 02:51 AM) What sticks are my fellow Malaysian gamers using? Money no problem... go for TE...Madcatz TE? I've heard plenty of bad stuff about Madcatz SE, but the TE supposedly solves this with Sanwa parts. Is it the stick among Malaysian SFIV buffs? Please advise on sticks. On a budget, go for HRAP3 and buy sanwa parts frm me... |

QUOTE(boogalogist @ Jul 30 2009, 09:14 AM) Yeah, i concur... heheheTurtling seems like the way to go if you're only playing to win. But for casual matches, i think it's too much to stick to turtling style... With the exception of fighting zangief, turtle might be the ONLY way to go, unless someone can teach me a few pointers? |

QUOTE(Darkstalker @ Jul 30 2009, 10:50 AM) Actually, I don't think that SF4 favours turtlers. erm... would the style of hitting ur opponent for some damage and then running the whole 99 seconds considers turtling?Rather, it favours safe play. Rushdown for no regard to safety gets you killed, turtling all day for no reason also gets you killed. Gotta play it safe playa~ Coz some ppl will try to chip as little advantage they have and then run all the way. Sometimes, out of a 99 second round, 60 seconds is spent chasing the opponent. Man... and then i end up losing by KO and not time out coz i get frustrated and do silly stuff... hahaha |

QUOTE(lovehewit @ Jul 30 2009, 04:25 PM) Can someone pls tell me if there's a cheat code to break all the challenge modes? I am so frustrated and stuck at level 10 in time attack, survival attack...and for trial mode, I stuck at level 3 at all my characters becos I don't know how to combine all the combo moves... All i can say is keep trying and never give up...It took me close to 4 months to clear all trials. Dun lose ur temper and do it when your really free with nothing to do. Then you'll be doing it with a clear mind. |

Finally, woke up at 5am today to work on my HRAP3 artwork mod.
As most of you know, i sell sanwa and seimitsu parts. Most of wat i offer is sold except this seimitsu pearl button set (not even PM asking for them Found the artwork on konachan.com to match the purple pearl buttons. Plexi is frm Rawfish's bulk order. I always prefer 6 button layout to 8... personal preference though. And the end result.... ![]() Sorry for the crappy quality coz i'm using my cellphone camera. Like rawfish said, no German approved optics... |

holy testicle tuesday!!
juz a little advice for anyone with a plexiglass, it's recommended that you use buttons that are screw in instead of snap ins... guess what? my plexi broke... i finished modding the stick this morning and i juz came home frm work... Tested it out of sf4 and before i know it, there's a crack near the last 2 buttons... Now what i suspect happen is one of the buttons is not fitted in all the way, so i was using force to press the button down and the "crack" sound that i will remember for the rest of my street fighting life... damn it... should have juz used screw ins... there goes rm95... It's becoming a habit for me to discover things the HARD way... sigh... This post has been edited by hanz079: Aug 10 2009, 05:51 PM |

As phyurix mentioned, KK local arcade already got sf4 machine, although it's ps3 convert but still better than nothing.
Anyway, i always use e.honda now and i find that when i won a few games, ppl tend to counter pick balroq (boxer) and true enuf i problems with balroq (boxer) I dun think honda is really that "disadvantaged" so i'm going with "I'm not good enuf" anyone here main boxer or is a decent boxer user? I need match experience man... haiyaaa!!! This post has been edited by hanz079: Aug 12 2009, 05:39 PM |
