QUOTE(boogalogist @ Jul 9 2009, 05:01 PM) I'm still in SF4 camp..not switching to Blazblue. actually, phyurix taught me about the viper's jump cancel... it seems like all u have to do, is almost like doing gief's spd... turn frm down circle back all the way up and press kick... if done correctly, the kick will be executed on the ground but it will register as high jump cancel. How the heck do you do Viper's hard trial #3...that super jump cancel is crazy difficult! u can try like this... 1st, do the ground stomp move to launch opponent in the air and do the flame kick move normally on the ground, it will most probably won't connect coz it's too slow. Now do it the other way, do the ground stomp move to launch opponent in the air then do DOWN CIRCLE BACK ALL THE WAY UP and press kick... u'll see the difference... Good luck... |

QUOTE(rawfish @ Jul 11 2009, 03:03 AM) Wow.. all reporting the results in Woah...Hope that when I go home in 5 mins time there's people to play with... coz it's da weekend!!!! I am FREE for SF4 @ PS3 till Monday! Just to share, I bought a HRAP3 on impulse today before I came to office... just because I had spare Seimitsu buttons and balltop and thought it'd look nice. Dumb rightttttt? As I could perhaps piggy bank the cash to save up for SF4 PC (game, rig setup). RM310, which is really not a bad deal - so if any of you guys are still searching for a good stick, do read on my sig (sorry - whoring the HRAP3 stock again). Like I said again, I'll go where my friends and the competition are, and I want to see the quality of network code / people once the dust settles down for SF4 PC. Now HRAP3 is really cheap in the market. Easy availability sumore... Check rawfish's sig for HRAP3 stick... He whoring HRAP3... I'm whoring parts... Check my sig also... QUOTE(hatred___ @ Jul 11 2009, 11:12 AM) Rawfish, Hatred___Let me know your findings when you MOD the HRAP. Are those with soldered buttons or QDs? If soldered, is everything inside the HRAP same as the previous one or does it look like the Baz Blue edition. Contemplating. Contemplating hard. Thanks I tot u sold your HRAP3 to phyurix when he visited KL? U did not open it before? hehe Anyway, HRAP3 is blessed with QD... Modding is relatively simple. |

QUOTE(carloz28 @ Jul 13 2009, 06:08 PM) I read a post about square, octagonal gates and stuff. Very enlightening indeed. Me and my frens actually have some plans to mod our old ps2 joysticks.I was wondering if anyone of you here actually make your own fight sticks? ( including the PCB board??). Got my TE stick and im looking for some information on the technical side of the joysticks. I dun think you can make ur own pcb but u can buy ready made one like cthulu board. Juz wire up the joystick and buttons and you're good to go. Or you can choose to do padhacking which is to dismantle a joypad to wire it up to joystick and buttons. Works well too. Problem is not about the pcb, it's about the joystick case. I'm still looking for a carpenter that's willing to do it at a decent price. The joystick holes have to be drilled with precision though, too big, buttons will be loose, too small, buttons won't fit. I guess this is where the secondary school's kemahiran hidup skills come into good use... |

QUOTE(Darkstalker @ Jul 19 2009, 09:05 AM) FA the Sonic Boom. Wow, i din know there's so many ways to counter a guile sweep... hahaha. Block the first hit of the sweep, FA the second. Or, block the first hit of the sweep, jump and attack. Or, block the first hit of the sweep, throw. Or, block the first hit of the sweep, Ultra. Et cetera. |
