Seeing how Yeb plays, his rather cautious and also strategies were played out nicely. There were a few setups I saw that were very impressing. Like doing the Crane's crossover shenanigans and poking using MK-Hands (something I like to do as well ). Still a long way to be able to copy him, but heck more matches more experience

Thanks on your feedback dude, the mantis super goes through fireballs was a 1st to me. Didn't know there was some invincible properties there.

As for the vids, seeing the way rokotsu playing gave me a little idea since strategy wise fighting Gief is always run and gun. Well, we'll just see if I can play it smart going against your Gief next time

BigMac's Abel? Last Boss? Really need to test him, last time we had a casual he was playing Sagat. That guy dun wan go all out with me

Just my 2 cents about Abel's gameplays/strategies (he should be my main actually, I think )

1. Kung-Fu Style (I like this term ) - s.LK is a good poke, good range and start up, I would sometimes spam it together using the Wheel Kick. Its effective against some players who "tries" to get in on you while both players are doing the "Tango" baitinng each other . s.LK for ground zoning and the Wheel Kick if you anticipate a jump in.

2. Grabbing Style - EX TT I think avoids both hit and grab, and the range is the same as a LP version, damage the same as MP. Grabs out srk moves too if I'm not mistaken. Grabs Lariat is confirmed but SPD Ultra/Super I got that countered once only using EX TT. Learning Tik throws and understanding frame locks would help his game more.

General Ideas
His resets/mixups are at times too important if you wanna get some damage using him. 2 Bread & Butter Combos in a row can out damage a 1 long string combo. Utilising his c.HP can be a good example, a few mixups would be;

Combo starter - c.HP - LK Roll - s.HP - LK Roll - (any of the following)

a) c.HP - Ultra (highest reset combo damage possible, may hit on opponents trying to grab you if timed correctly)
b) Falling Sky (anticipate from jumping)
c) TT (if their countering with grab or srk or just blocking)
d) repeat as example above

Swap the 2nd Roll using MK would allow you to roll behind your opponent, and you might punish the fellow if his holding the wrong direction for blocking. Similar like doing crossups.

I still havn't got much of a feedback on my Abel, so my opinion may vary from others. Hopefully everyone could use this useless ranting of mine

In Mantis Stance, QCFx2 KKK will do Cranes Ultra. I know about it but to be honest, I completely forgot about it never really did try to use it while in a match. Still need more experiments if really want to play Gen

Dunno la dude, there were some situations I EX TT normal grabs, Honda's Ukiyo Throw, Gief's SPD at times. I didn't even expect those command throws coming.

I can understand that feeling, old man like me also cant be having too good reaction to retaliate things like that

Well, that depends what punch version ur using. If LP was a reversal then can break, MP or HP no reversal also can break FA since theres multiple hits on it

A better example would be Ryu's srk since any punch also will be 1 hit only. normally you can FA the srk but if his srk was done under "reversal" circumstances, the FA will break instead of absorbing the hit.

Heh, but still you guys there are better and lucky to have a big community on this game. Still very small around here. Only when the game was modded into the arcades then there were some hype. Still way behind from all of us coz they playing the game like 3rd strike haha
