in terms of spec, both GPU are still the same... 80SP, 64-bit...
only that HD5145 is a more fine-tuned HD4570... so u re only missing out on DX11 and 40nm production... other than that, they are both the same... |

hey i wan ask. i own a k40AB series asus and currently after i installed windows seven premium, my SRS effects can't work anymore. and i cant find any updates for SRS. is there a way to solve this?

just want to ask A42JK i3 got windows 7 CD? i bought 1 from pc fair, dun have the windows 7 CD. the seller just say use the recovery CD.

then how are we gonna do a clean format the laptop? every time just recovery only. i dun have the windows 7 product key also. others brand seems like come with original windows 7 CD with product key. But asus dun have.

Nah, other brand even don't give recovery CD, they expect you to burn it yourself, except Dell.

Weird. I believe the earlier batches of A42/52jr came with Windows 7 32bit and 64 bit recovery cds. Guess Asus removed them to cut costs ._.

I read some older threads, previous users who bought A42jr with core i3 processors had 2 windows 7 discs which came with the laptop. Referring to online reviews, it was mentioned that asus included them last time. =)
