Are there reliable sources on this
haunting. Its "based on"... which means plenty of horror moments are added for the sake of movie goers wanting some scare.
I search online for this "true story" and barely could find anything concrete.
A VERY valid question.
It all boils down to whether you believe in spirit/soul...
If you had seen the the poster of this movie, it looks like the "boy" have a piece of fabric (ectoplasm) pulled out off his mouth
Believe it or not, capturing ghostly images can be trace as far back as the existence of the camera.
A lot of them are proven to be fake (like the picture mention above), double exposure, manipulation of the shutter speed and playing of light and shadows etc
But there are just some photographs that defy explanation. (If you have watched the Thai version of Shutter, you get glimpses of such pictures)
Again, it all boils down to whether you believe in the soul
Please be appreciative of not being able to see ghost or apparitions
It is my believe that one has to be the same wave-length as the ghost/apparition in order to see it (eg. people who are exceptionally depressed and/or negative)
My two sens worth
[P.S. I hope you don't mind, I'm cutting and pasting this reply in my Horror Movies Thread as well]
