QUOTE(PrinceHamsap @ Dec 11 2009, 01:02 AM) tested a couple of weeks ago. engine isn't as smooth as the 3.2 triton but the instant 'urge' is there won a drag with a waja in traffic light it takes corner better than the vigo and triton. cabin is more spacious + classy but look spartan compare to the better ambient triton. still, definitely a better buy than the triton and lagging vigo overall. didn't take the pics though. phonecam running low on battery... btw, those hilux / vigo of newer design isn't as reliable as the older hilux sr turbo. |

QUOTE(cooyard @ Dec 12 2009, 12:15 PM) exactly! i've tested all the double cab pick up truck around. the smallest 2nd row seat around was those of L200. d-max was a tad better.no doubt, vigo and triton is spacious but the navarra beat 'em all. the only drawback on the navarra's vast cream color interior was the design; too boxy compare to the later and slightly lower roof line(i felt so...). but it does looks classy wait till you feel the 'urge' in between the 6 speed manual tranny |

Those 4x4 with A/T box can do simple wheel burnout...
1. Left foot on brake pedal. 2. Shift gear to L or 1. 3. Right foot on accelerator, depending truck, most will reach to full boost at 2000 RPMs. 4. Gently let the RPM climb to 2200 RPM and release the left foot as quick as possible and watch... Scary... |

QUOTE(acbc @ Dec 16 2009, 12:40 AM) Those 4x4 with A/T box can do simple wheel burnout... Of course, it will make all wiralution and wajadilotion run for their lives but practically, it's very dangerous. However for the rest, don't try this on public roads. Try finding somewhere isolated.1. Left foot on brake pedal. 2. Shift gear to L or 1. 3. Right foot on accelerator, depending truck, most will reach to full boost at 2000 RPMs. 4. Gently let the RPM climb to 2200 RPM and release the left foot as quick as possible and watch... Scary... |

QUOTE(prospeed_ballz @ Dec 21 2009, 02:27 PM) Yup you are right, I drive both auto & manual, auto is my company car, manual is mine, almost same performance offroad, although auto a little bit annoying on the gear but it is still ok and easy to drive offroad and onroad. Manual haiya.. Need to change from gear 1 to gear 2 fast, if not engine will sound like big tug boat and black smoke will come out from the exhaust. I like to use direct gear 2 from stop when driving in the urban area. |
