Their "tuner" club only have few heavily modded pickups, few heavily modded exterior looks.

It's more like a name than it's actual meaning.

3.0 VNT comes with the scoop. While the 2.5 don't have I/C unless a aftermarket ones if fitted.

am_eniey, do you guys happen to take the route from Banting to Sepang? I used to spotted alot of pickup truck coming out from a kampung route when going off through short cut. That was hell alot of Hilux. Led by JPJ's Forturner some more..
*
Probably....the rear end was not JPJ, it was our marshall and sweeper.

My mistake.. I spot 2 with scoops....... tuners club, I would expect more on tinkering/modding/power
*
1 was real modded turbo intercooler, the other one was makeup but it does not matter anyway. We got things very cheap as one of our member is a runner from thailand and have many goodies such as tuning chips of many types as well as other performance parts and exterior/interior accessories.

i read from other website feedback saying the rear shackles  is rubbish dont feel much difference ... what about you guys??? after adding it will still bumpy but more like a sedan car bumpy???
*
if you depend on the shackle only it won't make a significant difference it will reduce bumps approx 10-15% but with additional adjustable shocks it will help a lot but no matter what, the bumps will still be there because a pickup truck will remain a truck, nothing can change that.

Yeah. yokohama geolander ats is fine.
agree with Victor. 2 of my dueler ht's had a hairline sidewall cracked the other day. pushed too hard in corner.  lousy grip in wet.
currently using federal couragia su. cost close to 600 bucks each. feel more confident with it. let see if i could crack it's sidewall soon...
*
my yoko geolandar ats costs me rm420 each....275/70R16 and it's quiet and capable of mediumcore offroading

Added on September 24, 2011, 1:45 pmthe geolandar ats works well in this type of terrain even got grip while towing in a slippery terrain like these..

when you go offroad or rivers, are sand in brakes bad? I heard they produce a sharp noise

offroading uses less braking...mostly using 4L and 1st gear when decending steep angle....only use brake to full stop the car
