Tats pretty cheap.. but amz's (I assume u r talkin abt amz..) shippin chrg is a bit steep..

Troy Director's Cut - almost grainless, blacks are dead-on, colours are rich, almost all scenes look 3-dimensional... pop up to you, as though you're in that scene. I can enjoy all these even though my LCD's not Full HD!

Transformers on the other hand, while the daylight/robot scenes are dead-sharp; is heavily-grained especially interior & night scenes... but like many others will say - this gritty-grainy look is intended to be there; and also the extensive use of filters which is fine for the tone & feel of this movie, I guess...

But if to compare, Troy the clear winner here.. to me, at least; as a Hi-Def PQ demo disc...


ps - Diane Kruger's (.Y.) could've been sharper...

yes it was Amazon US' pre order.....me being cheap, didnt order that....am gonna hold for the price to go lower...hehehe.......instead i ordered In the Realm of Senses and some others.

I dont have Troy bd .. Trnfrmrs is okla.. but wat has struck me as a fine visual is a non descrpt title called Immortal Beloved (kinda biopic of Ludwig Von Beethoven) - man the vdo there is really really gud..

I dont blame you.. Coraline isnt exactly a top tier ttl, is it?? But HDef digest rvws are pretty gud so m tryin tis out..

Like I said amz shpg chrgs normally adds USD5 (or even more if u order less than 5 ttls) so a cheapo like me adds all tat up..

That's correct, that is from Ezy Video. I've also learned that there are Malaysian version BDs released by HVN now, with Bahasa subtitles, pressed in Hong Kong. So be careful.
