hopefully la. i heard he prefers arsenal. i just hope we get a good partner for rooney. benz or fabiano would be great biggrin.gif

out of equation, his age is the main hindrance

benz prefers arsenal? come on....if he wants to win trophy, United will be the choice tongue.gif

with the arrival of Valencia, Rooney will be back to his favourite position....oh...can't wait to see him racking up goals after goals like when he played for England

yewps, certainly won't mind if rooney has to play out wide once awhile if it's for the benefit of the team. but with CR7(the one who nvr tracks back) gone, and Valencia stepping in which we know tracks back and defs better than CR7. i think we'll see Rooney less on the wings.

would definitely love to see Rooney at his favourite position and scoring week in week out.
*
which side is Valencia playing? left or right wing? if he plays left wing then rooney definitely will be back to the center since valencia is willing to track back quite often, and also means that evra could launch more attack from the left

He plays on the right. Nani/Park will battle it out for the other spot. I hope Nani really cement that place.
*
well Nani really need to step up this season, been quite mediocre in the last 2seasons, but probably was due to lack of matches exposure....but if he and valencia really pick up their game, then we will have our new "yorke-cole" combo, only this time its at the wing position

all got rasuah from the spain govt  tongue.gif  for the past 3 season , all the english team dominate the CL. haih... if u keep on dominate the CL, means u are good. Seems that some people envy with the BPL performance. loser  doh.gif
*
just like what the governing bodies for ping pong and badminton did to counter China....but in the end they still dominate the sport...

RM keep on pancing players from United, but we are still champions, and they? nothing near us....

or i am wrong?

just comment only... we all have diffrent views on a people anyways

somebody think he is good

somebody think he not enough...
*
he "seemed" to be not in form coz he was playing out of his position.....his form during England matches was blistering, so fergie might wanna emulate that tactic this season

QUOTE(yhtan @ Jul 3 2009, 10:39 PM)
it could be full stop in transfer market for us, since Owen and Valencia cover up the departure of Ronaldo and Tevez

i'm looking forward how Rooney-Owen-Berbatov combo for this season
*
since Berba love to set up attacks, Owen would fit into the tactics, he still has the goal instinct, even at lowly Newcastle he also scored 10+ goals in limited appearance....let alone at Man utd where there's abundance of good players

flop or not flop, injury prone or not, no one can tell, or predict
besides an instant usable player, he's also an instant ready striker tutors for our young Kiko and Welbeck, so its also an indirect long term investment from SAF

QUOTE(Wan @ Jul 4 2009, 12:29 AM)
He's not as good as he once was. But one thing with strikers, those good at finishing, is that, even though they lose their pace, strength and stamina, they would still find their way into scoring positions and get on the end of things as Ole showed in his final seasons. Just see Ronaldo9.. knee problems, no more pace, but still scored shitloads of goals in all level.
Ronaldo was hardly a creative force. In 06/07 maybe he has that, but last 2 seasons have all been about him getting on the end of things rather than the one providing. If we look at his form last season, minus the goals, it was just decent IMO. If Valencia plays more for the team, then it would probably be better for us in the long run.

Anderson can takeover from Scholes, although in a different way. As for Carrick, we can use the other midfielders alongside Anderson..

They would donate half to me.
Replacement for Ronaldo in Valencia, replacement for Tevez in Owen. Spent 16m on those two. Simpan the baki in Swiss bank and watch it accumulate.

Huh? Berba is our master in that. Scholes and Carrick are too deep to setup goals usually, and Ronaldo last 2 seasons think he is a striker rather than a winger.
We still have Manucho. Stay strong!  laugh.gif  laugh.gif

laugh.gif  laugh.gif  laugh.gif

That's unfair on Ronaldo. He gave his best every time for us. He wants to be the best, and for that he always made sure he tried his best, although admittedly sometimes he focus too much on himself(I want to score mode) rather than the team.

Nice info!  thumbup.gif

lol last season we have:

1 winger who played like a striker
1 striker who played like a midfielder
