Flash position at 4 o'clock (F58AM), 8 o'clock (F58AM) and 11 o'clock (F42AM) roughly 2 metres away from object. Models were at the centre

actually, it doesn't get too wide, and you can actually see a lot of chromatic aberration occur on the distorted edges when using a WA conversion lens... my advice would be to save up and get an wide angle lens... just my 2 cents, sifus please correct if im wrong...

pros - cheap, might be ok if ur not a pixel peeper

cons - doesn't go all that wide, chromatic aberration will occur at the distorted edges

most peopl;e go for conversion lens/adapter is due to money issue because using wide angle or macro lens, it would go up to 4 digits in money. Conversion lens/adapter only cost few hundred

I would only give one suggestion/advice - if you plan to shoot wide a lot, go get a lens. If you plan to shoot wide like one or twice a month, then consider the cheaper alternative like a wide conversion lens or manual focus lens
