another Q,may i know what kind of video files u guys used to watch on 5800? MP4 ? Using built in Real Player? Which converter? Currently i'm using IMTOO DVD to MP4 converter, convert DVD video to 640 x 480 and change the aspect ratio in Real Player. The quality is ok but i wonder if i can get better smile.gif Is CorePlayer available for 5800 oledi?

thanks in advance.

it should be because u r using an illegal version of garmin or not a paid version. Garmin is free for external or bluetooth gps modules

weird.. it takes quite a long time for my gps to lock on. at least 4 mins...
few months ago it can lock one within 1 minute.

any solutions ? using a-gps already.

just now went under clear sky also have trouble locking.
Is it because my house position is not strategic ?? lol

btw, few days ago i went to steven's corner and played with garmin and it locked on pretty fast ==

if your garmin detects internal GPS it wont bug u about external bluetooth gps.

To improve lock time of internal gps just turn on a-gps from apps > Location > Positioning > Positioning Method

that is totally incorrect information.

A dedicated GPS will always be better than a phone gps at the moment.

Nokia Phone GPS are weak and requires A-gps for a faster lock when dedicated does not need

if u are using unlimited data plan leave all turn on. If not please turn off the following bluetooth gps ( stop bugging u ) , Network based<--- drain alot of credit

So only leave 2 on a-gps and integrated gps

Very interesting article to read as a proud Tube's owner. And perhaps to be added in the front page.

Convert your video to H264

I've found the correct setting to convert my video to H264 format which is playable with our tube.

Software to use: Mediacoder (free)
setting to use:
under video tab:
set bitrate (400 to 500) is quite good.
Profile: Baseline  /  Level: 1.1 /B-frames:1  / Subpel: 6 /Predictor frames:1 /Motion Est: Hexagonal / Range:16

under audio tab:
Encoder: FAAC / Bitrate: 128 (quite good) /container:AAC

nder Picture tab: (i think this one is most important)
Resize: 320x180 global / crop: (I like to crop base on height) / Framerate: 25 / Aspect Ratio: 16/9

You can set your subtitle too...

It produce very good result compare to encode with divx  640x360 x1K bitrate eventhough its only half of the size and produce very much smaller size file. It's a magic of H264! Try it yourself!

You still can use opera to view video in youtube. when u clikc the link it's playable with built-in realplayer. Just remember to setup the connection.... make sure it connected to your default wifi (not connect to 3g).

I found out with opera if I use to much finger to scroll, it's crashed. Next time if u want scroll just make it very very slow.... and gentle

Option 1 to connect usually 5-10cents for first lock
continous will deduct so if that location signal bad can take about 50-70cents

Option 2 connect to a-gps then after disable agps then it only charge u 10cent

Option 3 Enable always ask so when first time to connect it deduct 10cents then it will ask do u want to connect bla bla press No so when u need it only press YES

Option 4 Before enter car leave your phone at a place with clear sky for it to lock = FREE
