not yet..cause its end of month
so i still can survey around biggrin.gif

any touch u mention*
*
If u cant decide i recommend u get a S40 or fixed phones like SE, LG , Samsung without OS so no worries. If u are undecided means u do not know what you are buying. Like me i see the phone i know what is capable of and what i should do i buy instantly. No point u think and think and think then after you bought it you have even more problems and worries trust me.

btw, if i get Ori, if anything wrong wif it, whr can i repair or warranty? blink.gif  blink.gif
because i bought a psp last time at petaling street, it gave me alot of problem and i have to go down to tat shop(sux) vmad.gif  vmad.gif , and i stay at subang jaya.

tats y i'm looking for any phone shop nearby subang jaya or sunway smile.gif
*
for original any nokia centre in malaysia.

For subang its at Sunway Pyramid 3rd floor if i am not wrong.

For cheaper price i recommend this seller e_trade_pj <-- lyn forumer
From my survey if you want cheap there is only a few seller for e_trade_pj his shop at kelana jaya station take putra bus RM1 to LRT station then to Giant RM1 + RM1 to return to subang total RM3.

Just remember for 5800 XM price you cant get another similiar unit already. Its cheapest at its class.

yes, by selecting Assisted GPS you will get very fast lock on to GPS.
thats because it will send small amount of GPRS data to the setellite to conform your position.
and this will cost abit money for maybe 10 ~ 15 cents per lock on.

without selecting the Assisted GPS you will get slower lock on, just because the GPS is waiting for your position conformation. untill few minute (tested at open air), it will lock on for you as well. by this way you way, you save 10~15 cent per lock on.

if youre traveling inside the car and lock on without selecting Assisted GPS. you will need MORE longer time to  conform your position during you are moving around.

thats what i been told by some one, correct me if im wrong.

hope its help.

First the information on a-gps already on the frontpage only forumer didnt read.

A-gps assist you buy providing the satellite locations to the phone about 10 satellite . Without it the phone need to scan and lock 1 by 1 until i gets its minimum of 4.

That day i tested my friend GPS lock-on

He using pospaid and im using prepaid

-pospaid fasted than prepaid alot no matter with agps or no

i think got somethings with our line also
*
no such thing so u telling me indoor i use a-gps also less than 60 sec.

A-gps only provide the locations of the nearest 10 satellite location tats all so the phone know where to look. If your place signal is weak watever a-gps u use also useless.

2nd no such thing faster or slower the charges about <10kb of data downloaded

Card Reader is only necessary if you transfer huge data between your pc and card often. Or else its useless. Where are you rushing?

QUOTE(joshuawong @ Jun 27 2009, 10:10 AM)
Hey guys,

Some updates for the 5800 XpressMusic Meet-up with Nokia. Here's the latest:

Date: 18 July 2009, Saturday (Yes! Nokia Malaysia people can make it)
Time: 10:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Venue: Sunway Pyramid (suggested - anymore suggestions?)

Agenda:
- Introductions - get to know all the 5800 XpressMusic users.
- Short presentation by Nokia Product Manager
- Q&A session with Nokia Malaysia
- Games (and Prizes!)
- Lunch

We're thinking of making this a really casual & fun event to encourage people to talk and get to know one another, and also for people to get to know the Nokia folks in Malaysia. There will be a cap of about 30 people because we will book the whole place and need the place to be big enough.

One more thing, the Nokia Product Manager, Glen Cha, might bring along the 5330 XpressMusic (prototype) for you to be among the first to see. No promises though.

What we'd like to do now is start compiling a list of people who want to go. Can you add your name to the list below and also send me a PM?:

1. davidlian
2. joshuawong
Can't really wait to meet all the 5800 users! smile.gif
*
Just curious if u do manage to get 30 people what type of space or location will u use?

hi to all,i installed GarminMobile on my 5800 but everytime i try to on it,a message " do u want to switch on the Bluetooth" keep on appear, any idea where can i disable it?

another Q,may i know what kind of video files u guys used to watch on 5800? MP4 ? Using built in Real Player? Which converter? Currently i'm using IMTOO DVD to MP4 converter, convert DVD video to 640 x 480 and change the aspect ratio in Real Player. The quality is ok but i wonder if i can get better smile.gif Is CorePlayer available for 5800 oledi?

thanks in advance.

it should be because u r using an illegal version of garmin or not a paid version. Garmin is free for external or bluetooth gps modules

Emmmm, most probably as it come with the phone when i purchased it. tongue.gif But i usually switch the BT off but it take longer to lock on.Possible to disable it? hmm.gif
*
if your garmin detects internal GPS it wont bug u about external bluetooth gps.

To improve lock time of internal gps just turn on a-gps from apps > Location > Positioning > Positioning Method

how much the cost for a-gps???it will kept deduct or stop when locate already
*
\
Option 1 to connect usually 5-10cents for first lock
continous will deduct so if that location signal bad can take about 50-70cents

Option 2 connect to a-gps then after disable agps then it only charge u 10cent

Option 3 Enable always ask so when first time to connect it deduct 10cents then it will ask do u want to connect bla bla press No so when u need it only press YES

Option 4 Before enter car leave your phone at a place with clear sky for it to lock = FREE

No offense what u said is wrong.

A-gps will always try to connect whenever the signal gets weaker. To know that just enable always ask u notice the prompt will always ask frequently.
