Well, mine usually can last around 2-3days with normal usage of call, msg and games. If use garmin will be faster...

Mine can last about 2 days, it really depends on usage habits I believe, I mean here's what I do with it:-

1. Wifi surfing
2. Apps downloading and installing
3. Averagely 1-2 hours music playing (for a total of 2 days)
4. Fiddling with calender entries, SMS
5. Phone calling 1 hour ++
6. A little bit of gaming
7. USB connectivity for file copying and stuff (I kinda think that this drain battery power, but then again I can be wrong)

I recalled once that my batt lasted for a day.

I think we should post more usage journal (given if we have the time) for our phone so that we can monitor own usage behaviour and probably we can gauge battery usage or Symbian OS behavior, because Symbian seems to have some minor instability. (if you ask me) Nonetheless this is still a great phone.

Decrease screen brightness.

settings>phone>display>light sensor

so u guys go charge your phone to 8 hours when u guys first charge it? i heard we must charge longer for the first time?

erm, already discussed last thread/s
no nid to do that
charge that long for first use is for those old tech
new batteries dont nid tat...
although apparently it wont harm ur battery either if u rily did charge for that long laugh.gif

hmm.. don know why i think my 5800's battery drain very fast. i didnt suft the net or something but only sms and making calls.

really? is this true? if like that good la.. so it is better to charge the phone by turning it off or letting it on?

i have no idea...i personally oni charge it when battery omost empty, n leaving it on...
duno if it matters, on or off,...

did you use KillMe to kill all unused application, i mostly will run killme every halfday

if u running too many app. in the background, ur battery will drain faster
use killme app to kill all unused app
