To all garmin XT Mobile users, which map are you all currently using? I cant seem to use the MSM NT 2009.5 map. But the map posted on the first page of this thread can be used, albeit outdated. Has anyone managed to use the latest map on our tube?

I am one of them, I am happily with the original pouch so far... no scratch so far (touch wood)

mines is about 1 month, I did put on some celephonetape at the corner of the case, and it makes the phone slip in and out smoother, and no worry on scratching also....

Why dont u share that place with us? Maybe we can go try it too? keke

Anyway if anyone tell you their gps lock in 10 - 50 sec its either they didnt know their a-gps is on or it wasnt a cold start.

1) Locked previously and close garmin. They reopen garmin the previous gps location is still fresh = fast lock time
2) Their a-gps is on with our without their concern

Most mobile phone without a-gps cold start from 0 bars take min 4mins to 20mins even with clear sky.

I notice alot forumer boasting about their 5800 xm gps lock in 10 sec - 2 mins in cold start only Garmin NUVI can do that.

With clear sky a-gps can sometimes takes from 3 sec to 30 sec or sometimes cant even lock due to obstacle blocking from getting a good reception
