Helo, need to ask if anyone here had successfully change their class 2 8gb memory card to class 4 or 6 at NCC? The corruption error is killing me . Do let us know the place you change as well so we can take your case as a reference .

Oh about the memory card, my GF unit was sent to NCC (Melaka) yesterday for warranty on the LCD, she complained about the memory card and they said both will be changed. Will update again later today when she receives her handphone back.

Hi all. I installed Trivial Pursuit on my wife's 5800. Did not work correctly so uninstalled.

Problem now is there is no sound for other games? Anybody know what cause this?

ya, this phone camera function really worse, but it still very good value/performance phone in market ATM

just tested with my phone no green lines. TS should update this at frontpage prevent ppl to buy faulty units

Guys, what do u expect for this phone, its mid-end product ma, well my personal opinion this set should be rated 8 of 10 because everything is there, no doubt the camera is 3.2mp and flash are LED. I m using this phone for a month and i have no complain on the camera in this phone as i been used SE C510 & K770i. These phones are cybershot but when u take picture in night still lousy. And i have tried same thing in my tube , picture turn out to be bit better than SE models which use LED flash. Furthermore there are pros & cons in every product that been released right!

People always overexpect. Means his k810 have touchscreen have symbian OS can install softwares and games, have bluetooth 2.0 AD2P, 3.2inch LCD screen size, have dual surround speakers , have HSDPA, Have front camera for 3G calls , GPS build in so he take his K810 and compare with 5800 XM so its call a downgrade. Why people pay 3k for iphone and dont complain its crappy 2MP sux?

5800XM its one the most cheapest up to date feature phone in the market if u can find me any phone in the market cheaper then 5800XM and have all its feature and more i will sacrifice and buy u a n97 or u buy me one if u cant find

Please compare apple to apple. The only flaw of 5800 XM is its camera but for its price what can u expect? ATM brand new can get as low as RM1200 touch screen u know

yo how long does it take to get a fix on the gps? mine took 10 minutes nearly everytime....kinda long huh..no agps...anyway to speed it or its liddat?

cold start and if not at a place with clear sky sometimes 10mins up to 20mins.

Cold start + apgs with clear sky near instant.

dont be sad cheers up... I never install that game so dunno if it's have a bug....maybe be wait later on if someone does install your apps they will assist you.... check if the apps support 5800xm or not

Yep, it's true the camera quality is mediocre compared to others that are available in the market right now.

But like many have mentioned, for RM1150, you can't get another phone that is as feature-packed as the 5800.


This is my 3rd day with my 5800 and I'm glad I got this over the e71 or a Windows Mobile.

I'll pay slightly more for those and I still won't get what the 5800 can offer.

Real integrated GPS, wide 640x360 screen, touch screen and a real fancy touch interface.

It's no Iphone, and it's no Cybershot/Walkman.

But it definitely did try it's best to give you both.


Now all we need is v31 firmware with kinetic scrolling and we're all good.

well i am definitely enjoying my tube now regardless, it is worth paying for. Tinkered with the gps, works excellent. Touchscreen, yeah love it. The only issue left is green streaking from the camera.
