QUOTE(dennisdevosse @ Aug 13 2012, 12:10 AM) Guys, if i have got scholarship for my degree, can I still apply PTPTN loan ? Simple answer: No. http://www.ptptn.gov.my/web/english/loans/terms-of-loans - Item no.8 How much money do you want? Scholarship money should be enough to cover uni fees and your daily expenses already. This post has been edited by hirano: Aug 13 2012, 12:52 AM

QUOTE(waterdrops18 @ Aug 15 2012, 09:16 PM) Hi guys! Today I went over to BSN, CIMB and Maybank in order to buy the pin no, open a new savings account and then open the SSPN account. Went back home and I have already filled in the PTPTN online application. But then when I reach at the Pengesahan Permohonan section, it indicated: STATUS SEMAKAN NO AKAUN SSPN: NOMBOR AKAUN SSPN ANDA TIDAK LENGKAP ATAU TIDAK SAH. SILA LENGKAPKAN BORANG SEMAKAN NOMBOR AKAUN SSPN DAN FAKSKAN KE BAHAGIAN SIMPANAN PENDIDIKAN (BSP) MELALUI NOMBOR FAKS 03-20986589. SILA KLIK UNTUK MUAT TURUN BORANG. I already had the 15 digit SSPN no. typed in correctly. Furthermore, the PTPTN website already said that if you have registered your SSPN number in Maybank, you can register your account online on the same day itself. What seem to be the problem? This: QUOTE(~Princess Belle~ @ Aug 12 2012, 09:05 PM) I faced that problem too the other day. Mine was because I don't have the last digit. You too?? I called the PTPTN hotline and then they asked me to faks the Borang Semakan Akuan SSPN which you can download by clicking the link there, together with the slip pembukaan akaun SSPN. The next day I called them again, and they gave me the last digit of the akaun number. Problem solved!!

QUOTE(saw2001 @ Aug 29 2012, 11:01 PM) Hello, There is a question which is running through my mind. Im about to complete my A-levels soon and im planning to apply ptptn for my degree. Firstly, Im planning to take business courses (lets say Business management). The fees is about Rm 67,000. Will i be eligible to apply for a full loan? Cause based on the website, the information giving is max loan amount is Rm 10000. Any idea? Firstly, it depends on your parents' total salary, how much you will be able to loan. Full loan for IPTS business course is RM16k maximum per year (this is already full loan). So if yours is 3 years course, means you'll get RM16k x 3 = 48000. More than 48k, you'll have to pay your own. My advice, if you can't afford this, please don't go for expensive universities like Monash/Nottingham/Taylors. Go with what you can afford. QUOTE(Seanlow31 @ Oct 24 2016, 04:37 PM) latest promotion from budget 2017 15% discount for full settlement 10% disc for 50% of outstanding 10% disc if use direct debit May i know how it works? Deduct straight from our total balance when we pay 50%. And if direct debit means, example 10k ptptn, they minus straight 10% become 9k.. So with this 9k we pay monthly rm200 like that? Pasting post from fb
anda wajib menghubungi mana mana cawangan PTPTN untuk mendapat satu surat pengesahan baki pinjaman anda ditolak diskaun 15% sekiranya anda memilih untuk melangsaikan kesemua pinjaman anda. Setelah membuat pembayaran, anda perlu menghantar email kepada pegawai yg menjaga fail anda disertakan bukti pembayaran untuk mereka update pada system mereka.

just clarified with ptptn. They say 10% is from my payment. E.g 14k loan, pay half is 7%. So 10% of the payment = rm700 total discount only.

QUOTE(kaoru @ Feb 9 2017, 05:00 PM) Hello everyone here, Was wondering how you guys pay your ptptn , i always use E-fes since forever but its been down for a long time lately ? migrate to some new link ? plz help ptptn is not responding to my mails Most of the times i go straight to their counter to pay. More peace of mind to me. Only few times pay via Maybank2U, but it will take 3-5 business days to reflect on my ptptn balance statement.

QUOTE(mouldybread @ Oct 22 2018, 01:07 PM) hi, i want to pay for someone's ptptn anonymously. is this possible? saw the mol payment option https://www.ptptn.gov.my/molpay/would the payment be traced back to that particular 7 11? what would the ptptn statement show in such a case? thanks Not sure on molpay. But for over-the-counter, this can be done without trace of payee. Just need the ic number of ptptn account holder.
