Personally I would take the regular Merc since I don't need the backlight. Then they feel of the keys are different. The regular has a more tactile feel while the stealth is soft like some laptop keys. Main feature for them is the 'butterfly key' gaming area.

Im G110 Owner dude. If u're much more on total darkness situation, there's no probs i think. The issue only come out for some peoples when works under the light / bright environment. Then maybe u can say its quite dim. I have no issue for the dark situation even working under my pendaflour light. The LEDs just enuff for me. Minor problems only..

One more things, maybe u may found half-bright LED on some button (The LED not fully covered the letters / symbol). This maybe caused by low quality inspection when lighting those keys. Other than that, its just perfect for me

Is that those'butterfly key' act like macros?
Hopefully it is as useful as logitech macros if I buy this KB later.

i hv some trouble with my g110 kb.....when im using the soundcard on the kb, my mic doesn't seem to be functioning....when im playing cs1.6 my teammate doesn't hear me....does it mean that the mic jack on the g110 is faulty??

haha..yea, but its kinda of an alternative to the everglide dkt keyboard..sort off (if you dont mind the no illuminated part)

its small and compact..easy to bring anywhere..the thumbster keys are easy to press even when playing game..you dont have to move your hand that much thanks to the thumbster keys

too bad the valo isn't coming to malaysia..thats a full illuminated kb..and a lot of macro keys with a few accessories

Used as a replacement for the regular WASD area of keys.

As for macroing, the G110 would be a better choice since it offers dedicated buttons for macros whereas the Merc can set macros for most keys.

Soundcard on your kb? Since when does kb has a sound card? You mean the jack on your kb is it? It could be your mic jack. Have you tried using your friend's mic on your g110?

Wow,since I got logitech KB,would like to try others if can.Is that all the keys on the 'butterfly'area can set to act as macros?

The butterfly area is more like a quick interface for FPS players mostly but it's still marcoable at any key you would like.
Like this would be the default setting.



And this if set to CS.




But it might look a bit different on the Merc since those come from my ZBoard's ZEngine.
