That's great.. My ETA is tomorrow night but I'm trying to figure out how to make collection arrangements without actually PHYSICALLY getting into contact with my transporter.

I've a newborn (barely 3 weeks) in my home and mom does NOT want any risks (due to AH1N1) - I told her I was gonna go over to my aunt's place and she said go pack enough clothes for 7 days and come back after 7 days!

Er.... read Post #1 - nokia2003 was kind enough to give full details on GST claims. Thus far, those who make the purchase and personally travel shouldn't have problems with the GST claims (I'll check with my aunt who's arriving tonight - she's carrying 1 unit of iPhone 3GS) - at least that's what the damn Australian Tax Custom website states.

However, there has been few rare cases where the person purchasing the unit wasn't the person travellingl and yet GST claims were successful hence luck might have played a role. If you follow according to the books, it must be the former way.

Also, as long as your friend doesn't travel on an Australian passport and leave no longer than 30 days after the said purchase is made he should have no problems claiming GST for that unit.

I believe nokia2003 mentioned in one of his earlier posts that when U go to the Apple Store, just let them know u intend to claim the GST 10% rebate and they will give you the necessary documentations. It helps of course if U know the procedure so if u really want to save the A$79 then go and read the Australian Custom Tax website - it's stated v clearly there as to how you can claim GST.

Eh.. since U people are testing it out, does Voice Control work on asking iPod to play specific songs? It works if U ask it to play songs by Michael Jackson but can it to play Heal the World by Michael Jackson?
