yes. even with the prepaid/outright version, the warranty is limited to australia. however, all iPhones from the oz will be handled by the apple store (regardless of the provider) and hence you can assure that it is all good.

anyway, speaking of warranty; harmeet15, stringfellow and tinkerbel,
kindly make a duplicate/scanned copy of the receipt ASAP as the paper is made out of those fax based type and the ink will diminish over time. but don't worry, i will make a scanned copy for your personal reference as well. harmeet15's unit has been collected by his proxy! so one down!
any warranty claims, i'll personally handle them (provided you can get i to me in melbourne). satisfaction guaranteed!
