i have 1 friend managed to order/buy it from 3 today and waiting for delivery..so i assume he order via online...

and i think 3 only offer 24months..
*
3 offers 12 months. I have asked them before. They started the 12 month contract plan either last Friday or this week.

QUOTE(y_owez @ Aug 24 2010, 11:09 AM)
oh ic ic, hmm cause i think previously someone said he went to vodafone at collins and got the stock from the shop? or smtg like that?
cant remember..if so lucky man!!

still tossing optus or voda now.
i'm with 3 now, so if i want to jump over to either these 2 network,
what do i have to do to maintain my number?
do i have to go to 3 first?( using the sim only plan ) or get the iphone first?
thanks,

and, if switching over, got any type like refer-a-friend program smtg? hehe if can get some credit off why not
*
Yes Ive got it from Vodafone collins..... Just switch to optus or voda by porting ur number. The staff (optus or voda) can do it for you. Dont need to do anything. No matter what you still have to wait for the stock to arrive first...

Yippee, my sis has managed to pick up an iPhone 4 Black 32GB from Sydney yesterday from an Apple Retail Store ... wasn't expecting to pick her up from airport tomorrow, but now that she has found me one, I HAVE TO PICK HER UP FROM AIRPORT.

I'm excited ... been fighting the iPhone craze for years. I finally succumbed. Got it for AUD$999.

unsatisfied with optus 3G speeds (it is good overall, but still patchy at times), i decided to purchase telstra datapack and try out the 3G all the way from CBD, back home!

bear in mind that the speed below isn't obtained in CBD, but suburb.

so tempting to continue using telstra cry.gif cry.gif cry.gif

i consumed close to 100MB in a single afternoon. tsk tsk tsk

on an unrelated note, apple store chadstone had (or has) stock earlier today. hence i managed to procure some.

weirdly enough that there is still a stock shortage over in sydney.

I'll answer to that first question via another channel.

but xaw5126 is correct.

so basically any app that requires the use of your GPS, the flag will pop as an indicator

in this case, speed test needs to determine my location via GPS

Just got mine from Telstra via JB Hi-Fi, they had an offer I couldn't resist.

Business cap plan, $49 / month

400 minutes, 1.2 GB data (1 GB bonus), 2 year contract.

Phone was 150 AUD, but JB gave me a hundred dollar gift certificate as a promotion.

Bye Bye optus!
