Er just what are the issues/problems you're facing with BeeJiveIM?!

I guess everyone's taking advantage of it's 9.99 pricing to purchase the app before it goes back up to 15.99!

Unfortunately, Malaysia map isn't available. US94.99 is pretty steep too but I suppose that's how much one would pay for a Garmin anyhow

It's a good thing I don't quite need a navigator just yet. Am still using the one I got from Citibank; but that's uhm.. a GPS-Bay not a Garmin

What to do? I'm a cheapo!

As I'm in the office at the moment, I'm connected via Adium and not BeeJiveIM but the few minutes I spent on BeeJiveIM it was ok.

I'll post reviews later when I finally get my hands on testing the actual app

There are still limitations to IM+. Also, hasn't IM+ Lite been closing on U?! It always closes on me, even the full version.

Do go ahead and purchase IM+ - perhaps then after U've used both U could write a proper review It's not fair to write a review comparing 2 similar applications when U don't use both of em

Like U said, perhaps ur just lucky U got connected before Yahoo changed servers?! I only got onto Adium through YM after updating YM as adviced by a fellow forummer here earlier

BeejiveIM is having some issues with YM since it's update. IM+ doesn't have push message as yet.

I haven't been able to sit down to use both so can't give U a review as yet. Give me a couple more days.

Yes it alwiz "reconnects" u but that's what happens with BeeJiveIM too. As to your online status, ur friends will still see that you're online.

Apparently U can reply to messages received that's being pushed through to your email via your email. I haven't been successful in doing it but I tested it with a friend and he successfully replied my IM message through his email box.

hMm.. now it makes sense why everytime I go back into IM+ it shows me "Reconnecting" and when I go back to BeeJiveIM it wouldn't allow me to send message cause it tells me it's connecting. So I guess both the IM apps workaround it in the same manner.

Push notification is available on BeeJiveIM.

@davidmak,
You're right about YM push - it doesn't work all the time just as and when. Also, I believe if the chat screen is closed on the other side, U won't be able to send a reply via email.

Er... U can still push your BeeJiveIM to email [the setting is still there] but U can also enable to push notification through to your phone. It works wonders! The only bad thing is, if U get a whole load of message U see it coming in one after another and can't read the one that came in before the last one *grins*

And well, as someone mentioned earlier, the 'ring tone' is a little soft so it's miss-able if your phone's in the pocket or in the bag.

Assuming 2 messages are received simultaneously, the 1st message gets pushed before the 2nd but it comes back to back hence U won't be able to even read the 1st message cause it'll be overriden by the 2nd message

In Settings make sure you OFF push email notification. And under Notifications, make sure U enable push notification from BeejiveIM.
