case 1
looks like a case of malnourished kitten or worms. also maybe she is the weaker kitten in the litter. feed kitten with easier digestible protein like raw/boiled chicken breast. force feed a supplement gel(Nutrical, i think) that contains a ingredient called taurine. vaccinate as soon as the doctor allows it. case 2 place orange/citrus peels at areas you don't want the cat to pee and poo. Replace with fresh peels once it has lose effectiveness. This post has been edited by mecharojak: Dec 16 2010, 04:34 PM |

put the orange/citrus peels on the flower pot surface soil itself.
It wont go near it once it catches a wiff of the peels. |

QUOTE(evil_educator @ Jan 7 2011, 05:50 PM) What are the differences between an adopted kitten and a kitten purchased? I rescued all my cats.I've always wanted to adopt one from the streets.... But i've already got 2!(one of them my uncle gave me as his family gave up) Some of the cats on the streets are really nice.. Milo and Coco (my cats) usually only come to me when food is being served! Some of the street cats will just come up to you when you call them.. they even communicate vocally.. So manja.. I can tell you form my experience, rescuing from the street you are required to expect the worst in terms of health and parasites. Kittens rescued form starvation and injuries will bond more strongly to the care giver. You need to bring it to vet as soon as possible. Quarantine it from your other pets. Toilet train it. Discipline it as it live in your care. Spay or neuter when between 6 to 9 months, above 2kg in weight. Alternatively adopting from animal rescue societies is more easier as the cats will most likely be already sanitized before adoption. When buying cats, make sure you researched the breed characteristics and traits before committing a purchase. Petshop staffs are generally not well inform about breeds and only wants to make the sale. Also a cat can live for a very long time, 10-20 years or more. Please make sure you can dedicate your life before being a cat owner. Having a give up your cat 5 to 6 years down the road would a painful event for both parties. |

QUOTE(tomy @ Jan 19 2011, 11:41 AM) hello to all cat lovers....i had a cat..its a siamese cat... but the problem is...my cat just poo in my house...than it always poo at the same place...now i wonder....how can i get rid of tht?i tried everything such as spray ridsect at the place and also use a thinner.....and al those things are dangerous,,,i know....somebody can help me here?? QUOTE(Mr Ez @ Jan 20 2011, 01:11 AM) Hello, I had the same issue when I adopted 2 stray kittens, they poo at the same spot not even bleach can help. Is your cats toilet trained to use the sand box?I solved the problem by putting the sandbox on that spot, little by little I move them to back yard where they should be. Gradual change is the key. QUOTE(DemonTweakZ @ Jan 21 2011, 10:14 AM) I got him Evo and he seems to love it. I also got him some pouches of wet food yesterday. Pro Diet. But unfortunately, he vomited this morning. Two times. I'm so worried now. Read the ingredients of those wet food packages. It better to just feed them chicken breast. This post has been edited by mecharojak: Jan 21 2011, 11:27 AM |

Try to rescue neighborhood stray helpless kittens first, if possible.
They show more gratitude than pure breeds,... Also please keep cats indoor, dont be a nuisance to your neighbours,.. |

Pet food industry is a multi billion dollars industry worldwide.
Pet food makes feeding pets very convenient. But there are alot of companies outhere wanting some of your money. They compete by advertising, sponsoring vets, flooding retail chains. The industry itself is pretty much self regulated. Consumers are confused by the brands, ingredients and price available. There are no shortcut to understand the nutritional needs of your loved pets. Please do some study, make your own decision. Start by understanding what a cat naturally eat first, IMHO. This post has been edited by mecharojak: Jun 24 2011, 02:59 PM |
