hi all.

i just got approved for my very first own credit card.

i know alil abt the statement date and payment date, and have read abt it in order to prepare myself so as not to have any late payments etc.

basically i'm pretty clueless abt this coz i've always been a supplementary card holder of my parents card... i applied for tis CIMB also bcoz my fren ask me to teman her since she want one..so i thought it will be good to start to learn managing my own finance now so i applied.

the thing tt i wana ask abt is can i use my maybank2u to pay for my cimb credit card charges/expenses?

will there be any other charges if i do this?

the other option i have is to go to the deposit machine, but using maybank2u i suppose is much easier. is there any disadvantages to this?

thanks for any replies.

No other catch to it except the Interbank charges. Just one note ... take care of the date you pay your credit card via Interbank. If you post the transaction on the same day before 12pm, it will clear on the same day. If you post it after 12pm then the money is only going to your cc account 2 days later.

Just to mention coz we don't want you to pay late charges unnecessarily.
