compatible up to 3.1.2 if not mistaken

I need to know if my iPod Touch 3rd Gen is the same size as either an 'iPhone' or 'iPhone 3G', because I am redeeming an iPhone skin to use on my iTouch from Lockerz. It only states two options for each iPhone decal size, 'iPhone' or 'iPhone 3G'.

iphone is slightly thicker than ipod touch
but i'm not sure whether it will affects decal

Another question , is Ipod touch 8gb enough for 200+ songs , 10+ games/application ? Which cost more space? The songs (medium bitrate) or the games?

songs will cost more space. Apps doesn't use much space

I heard that the system file or setting already eat up 1gb+ of spaces from the total spaces . So you guys think that 8gb is enough ?

Well, I just want the skin to cover to front side of the iPod Touch (on top of screen and the black area around the Menu button). On this aspect, the iPhone skins will fit just right, would it?

u mean the screen protector? i think it's the same size..

But you'll have an odd looking opening where the iPhone's earpiece should be. no biggie, i reckon.

ipod touch front side is slightly smaller than iphone. the menu button of ipod touch also slightly smaller. It is ok to put an iphone screen protector, but you will have a hole at the top part

hi guys, can ipod touch, the new one 3rd generation, work on windows XP service pack2? i saw the system requirement on apple websites, it said can work on XP sp3 or later only? my laptop is still running on XP service pack 2. so, is that a serious matter? that's my only concern before i make the purchase. thanks.

As long as ur Windows can install the latest iTunes version, it should b able to support it.

is there a way to stop the ipod touch from charging when i plug in the usb? i just wanted to transfer files..and i don wan to charge it...how ah?

It charge AND syncs your iTunes into your iPod Touch.. it doesn't hurt to replenish a little bit of your battery life, whats the biggie?

i scared later if keep charging..the battery cycle will finished faster lo..hehe
