Sifus i have a question regarding on 450d

today i went to a test on burst shot, i recall that someone said about buffer...

today i test my 450d without lens.. can burst up to 15 pcs only... then suddenly i clear all the setting and reset the same setting also same..
after sien jor...

then i leave it for 1 hour

then i try back again.. it can go up to 100pcs at one shot go...

btw the quality is L fine?? why like that ahh?

i quite often do burst since been doing sport recently.
one session could do 800 shots. but only half can be used

if you find post-processing photos is a waste of time, don't take photos then. =)

to me every photo deserves it's very best quality, and of course please do not include lousy snapshots in that list.

shoot only when neccessary and keep only the best ones. anything with slight flaws, delete it straight away.

always bare in mind to compare your photos with the professionals, unless you just want lousy snapshots.

sports require more shutter count usually.
if u dont have extra card, bring notebook, card reader. or else, borrow ur friend. lol
anyway, what i encountered last time during covering futsal event in my area.
the centre so damn dimmed. plus WB confused since the futsal court surrounded by green net, and the light illuminate the net to make everything greenish. so as newbie, i tried many diff settings.
one of it that worked for me is bump iso to around 1000. shutter at where enough to freeze moment/expression and leave it slight underexpose.
but but but, the catch is, i have to PP in lightroom every shot that i wanna use.  at least i can have less noise, frozen action.

well thats a thought from newbie using 50 1.8 as a sport lens. lol

why not? Just use a wide angle lens/ fisheye and you will hardly get bokeh.

seeing the discussion on RAW editing, I kind of wonder how much editing you guys to on the RAW since most say that it takes longer time to edit.

For me I only use the RAW to fix a few things like exposure, wb then straight away batch convert all to jpeg using zoombrowser ex, doesn't really takes a lot of time to do that. While checking the RAW I will also throw out any blur or OFF photos, so shortlisting + minor editing at one go.

Then it's just adding watermark and doing whatever effect I want to do in photoshop and the photos are ready.

i just shoot through the entrance net.
peeping using my 50 and 70300.
and also, i look around the net and was lucky found a hole between the net. probably terkoyak. so i shoot through there.
but most of the time through entrance net.

but actually, if possible. i wanna try for next time to be in the court myself. coz just the same at referee, but must be aware of the ball .
for me.
i went through first using zoom browser as it is faster.
then import the seleted one in LR. then develop one by one. lol
