he shoot overexposed to cover the background un-needed things like moving cars, objects etc. i wonder what Picture style did he use. He is a Canon-ian. and the pics he shot looks more like Microsoft adverts

Nope.

Here's the whole procedure:
1. Handhold the DSLR (Canon EOS 500D).
2. Set to "P" Mode.
3. Take a picture(of the same subject without moving) with normal exposure.
4. Take a picture (of the same subject without moving) with +2 exposure compensation.
5. Take a picture (of the same subject without moving) with -2 exposure compensation.
6. Plug 'N' Play DSLR USB DATA Cable into PC's USB. Copy 3 pictures from SDHC into HDD.
7. Launch Photomatix Pro 3.2.
8. "Generate HDR Image".
9. "Browse" for Image.
10. "Align Source Images" -> "By Matching Features".
11. "Tone Mapping".
12. Bottom Right -> "Presets" -> "Smooth Skies".
13. "Process".
14. "Save As" -> "JPG/JPEG".

1. shoot in RAW
2 make multiple copies with different exposure in Photoshop
3 use photoshop to HDR.. i think it is automate>merge HDR
4 ????
5 PROFIT!!!

Thanks for your help.
How do I make multiple copies with different exposures in Photoshop?
Anyone care to help me?

- shoot in RAW.
- Open Photoshop CS4
- there is an option beofre opening the image. you can change the exposure +/- there
- then save the image
- do it multiple times as you like
- Automate>Merge HDR (i think)
