yup, just signed up a month ago I think.
First you need a valid company. I've done everything online. A helpful officer from HQ helped me all the way until the account is made.
I found other forumers said that you can actually sign up on the spot at the PO. But only a few main PO provide registration service.
So if you want it fast, better go to HQ. Or can call toll free to ask everything you've got doubt. Operators are very helpful.

Documents you need:
Company Registration Cert
Form 9, 24 and 49 of your Company
I/C photocopy of yours

These are what the officer asked from me. After they verified, you will then receive a lot of PL1A and other courier forms, and those useful plastic flyers for you to pack your items.

You can also ask the officer during your registration, what is the pickup contact number of your area.
What's the pickup cut off time in your area.

After that, you can call them whenever you have parcel to post out. The postman will come to pickup from you. =)

Hope the above steps help! smile.gif

thx for sharing, any extra charges such as registration fees or deposit needed?
*
I didnt pay a cent to sign up. The officer just told me my bill will be sent to me every month.
But I saw others said that deposit is needed and must hit the monthly target. The officer never told me this too. I can say, I don't know the T&C before signing up myself..>,<
And for normal posting rate, I also read from other forumers here that it's cheaper with an account. (is it true?)

Is there any pos m'sia parcel package that does not require signature?( Besides Pos Express)
More expensive than pos laju?

And what's with the poslaju "drop mail" thing?
Why is it there when theres they say Pos Laju MUST have signature. sleep.gif

How high is the precentage that we will get a compensation??

if the package is bigger than 30cm will get measure.

Length x Width x Height must not be larger than 30cm

well....

this is how to calculate the price

Length x Width x Height / 6000 = Weight

once u get the weight, u can check the rate at pos.com.my

If the original weight's rate is more than the volumetric's rate, they will use the weight rate. If the the volumetric's rate is more than ori weight's rate, they will use volumetric rate.

My experience tells me...if your stuff is big in terms of size, go at rush hours and the kakak won't bother to measure using ruler and will only charge base on weight thumbup.gif
