Reach which processing center?the one near u or the one near your seller?
The posman will send it to your doorstep, therefore there is no need for you to go to the post office.
The status will be updated as : final delivery when the posman is in the process of delivering it to your doorstep

@BelowAverage
No,u will have to wrap up the cd with an envelope/wrapping yourself.
In the post office, they will only gv u the poslaju form to fill in. Nothing more unless u are going to poslaju center/major post office in which they might gv u an extra plastic bag.
My suggestion is that u wrap it up securely to avoid your cd cracked during the delivery.
You will be charged depending on where u wanna send it to,WM or EM.

Just wanna share a good experience with PosLaju,

As i usually am in the office on weekdays, i will ask my sellers to post my items to my office address.

One day, i was back in the hometown on holiday, i received a call from PosLaju saying that they want to send me a parcel. I replied to ask them to just send it to my office address even though i wasn't there.
The following week when i got back to work, i could not find my parcel.
After several attempts of failing to reach them via their hotline, i sent them an email to their customer service centre.

They replied within the day and helped me locate the tracking no. and date of delivery making it easier for me to locate my parcel.

I understand that many people have had screw ups with the post system but experiences like these have restored my confidence in PosLaju smile.gif

Usually when reach processing center, the parcel should reach u within the day or the day after.
If u wanna self collect, can call the poslaju hotline and ask them to do so.(unlikely though)

Question:

Going to send an item by Poslaju tomorrow. Do I need to use my own box, or are boxes provided there?

Use your own box or envelope. Wrap the items first before you put it inside the envelope or box.
Any envelope will do (the brown ones) icon_rolleyes.gif

They have their own box but better to use whatever you have.
Save the cost..

Yes, Suria KLCC open daily even on public holidays until the night. It's cater for working people who can't go to pos office during office hour.
Yeah, they do sell envelope there too.
But your mail will only be posted at the next working day if you post it after the cut off time.

if you send out before 5pm, it will reach to kuching within 12++ hours. poslaju also working at night, sorting out all the parcel/documents and send to airport. smile.gif

Happens to me all the time =) Paling awal is 1 day, the most are 2 days.
Hm, it seems like Poslaju have updated their tracking number system ya?

Just now I checked the tracking number of item sent to my buyers, the recipient's IC number also stated there.
Am impressed! notworthy.gif

Yeah, I have to say PosLaju is pretty good. So far all the shipments I've received (even a pair of expensive Westone earphones from the USA) have all been in a timely manner and in good condition.

Shipping to and fro WM and EM is also such a breeze. Just post it before the cut-off time for that day and it will probably arrive at the recipient's doorstep around noon. biggrin.gif

The tracking system is quite good as well. Have to say I'm satisfied.
