reg mail is the same as slow mail just got tracking

pos express at max also 3-4 days depending on the location u pos.
reg mail can take more than 1 month for some cases or "lost"

i got mine in 2 weeks time....

just pay more for post express
save ur waiting time

my case before, buyer ask me to use reg post.fine. after 1 month return back to me. wtf? then buyer say i never pos bla bla, but got prove being stamp and etc etc

most of the time post express and reg mail will end up more or less same price..

yalo~ hard to talk with them sometimes and tired..promise me already use pos express..after send just said use registermail...sad ~ and angry .....haiz~ waste my $$ >.<

Well how long normal post should reach a destination really depends, since there is no guarantee. It could take ages and it cud be miraculously the next day as well (my experience). Normal/slow post speed is SAME with registered mail, only registered got tracking and need someone to personally receive the post. As such, registered is more secured than the pos ekspress envelope.

Some points:

1) Don't mind delay and item not too important (ok to lose) = normal post. Its cheapest and most non-troublesome except it might take forever or never reach you at all (rare though)
2) Don't mind delay but important to receive it = registered post (just extra RM1.70 than normal post for the tracking sticker).Would cause trouble if nobody home when postman deliver so need to collect at post office or revert to sender if nobody collect after 2 weeks.
3) Want it fast but not too important to receive it personally = pos ekpress.
4) Wan fast and secured = poslaju/courier.

sometimes can be in the evening. around 4 or so...but sometimes they lazy wait for u just drop the paper in ur mailbox ask u pickup.
if u sempat rush to the post office then go take it la

Added on June 14, 2009, 3:26 pmHere...e-parcel is actually normal parcel delivery with tracking...at least that's what I was told by the post office guy. You need to fill in a form which look like poslaju form. Days of delivery takes some time and unpredictable unlike poslaju which usually receive the next day after sent to post office.
