In my track & trace latest status, it is written there as "call card send to customer"
What does this mean? I would have to collect the parcel myself?
*
Did you get any poslaju slip informing you to go claim your stuff at the nearest poslaju centre? If so then yeas...that mean you have to go collect there.

Maybe this has something to do with this message found at pos malaysia website?

QUOTE(PVCpipe @ Nov 16 2008, 02:41 PM)
how much u usually they charge if u want to post laju mobo?
*
You mean how much poslaju cost for sending motherboard?

The poslaju rate depends on the actual weight or volumetric weight.

If any of your parcel dimensions(length, width and height) exceed 12 inches/30cm, then it will be charged by the volume, but only if the volume weight is higher than the actual weight.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fomula for volumetric weight:
Length x Width x Height in centimetres / 6000 = Volumetric Weight in kilograms
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Go to Pos Malaysia website to get the poslaju rate.

**Rate not inclusive of 23% fuel surcharge and 5% GST. No 5% GST for item posted from Langkawi and Labuan

Yup...they are improving XD Still Pos Malaysia is better than some countries like Italy and Mexico...some international sellers a bit reluctant to ship to those countries because of high shipping lost...so yeah thumbs up for Pos Malaysia rclxms.gif

Yes...their system don't update instantly...that aspect still need improving alot. However you should be able to view the tracking status within 24 hours (from my experience). I heard that some even only got to view the tracking after item is delivered to customer which is totally pointless really doh.gif

Yes...there's a guide for pos ekpres in Pos Malaysia website. But most common you will only find three types of envelope selling, Small (RM2.50), Medium (RM3.00) and Large (RM4.00). The boxed envelope as shown in picture no. 4&5 is usually not available.

Have any idea how much is the insurance? I asked the lady at the Poslaju centre before.. but... She was very rude and ignored me so I didn't go back there anymore >.<
*
RM1.50 for insurance coverage of up to RM1000. Above that they have different rate. I'm not sure how much since the stuff I have insured are always below RM1000 smile.gif

how to track this code ?
cd 128 102 149 my

im kinda noob lol
*
Here...e-parcel is actually normal parcel delivery with tracking...at least that's what I was told by the post office guy. You need to fill in a form which look like poslaju form. Days of delivery takes some time and unpredictable unlike poslaju which usually receive the next day after sent to post office.

Don't think postman will give a call. I think you should see your neighbour and ask them if they received your parcel. If not then you should contact your post office and tell them to hold your parcel.

Adoi, since it's ady reached Post Office in Kuching, the item would probably reaches you later.

I guess you'll hv to go and collect it urself then.

I've no issue using PosLaju so far, only there's one case last week where I posted in the Friday morning, the item should reach the buy on Saturday by right yet they didn't and I was unable to track the item via the consignment code which makes me worrying shit(thought the postman stole it) until Monday morning only I was able to track it back. Other than this, their service is pretty gd, reach buyers the next day.
*
Same happen to me last Saturday. I sent about 5 parcels on Friday so I expect them all to arrive the next day as usual but the parcel all delivered on Monday instead. I'm not sure why...was it a public holiday or something? Other times I got no problems.

erm.. i wanna ask about how long is poslaju pos from johor to seremban??

Should be next day delivery. Meaning if you post on Monday should arrive on Tuesday. If more than 3 days did not get the parcel can make inquiry with the post office.

Can ask them to make second delivery. Or you can go collect at pusat poslaju nearest to your area. The parcel won't be sent back to post office. For me I need to collect my stuff at poslaju centre Bandar Baru Bangi and not at Post Office Bandar Baru Bangi. You can try call the number in your pick up slip or check for nearest poslaju centre in your area at website.

Pos laju working on saturday or not?
How many days off during raya festival?
*
Open on Mon-Saturdays except first Saturday of the month. Raya public holidays till Tuesday 22nd Sept so the next day should open as since it's normal working day. But delivery might be slow if their manpower is less than usual due to staffs on leave.

Hey guys first time using Poslaju as well, do they provide the final packaging at the pos offices if I hand my goods I want to do postage to them with it already being newspaper wrapped by me?(if they charge for it I dont mind as well)
Well I dont know what you call it but its usually the big yellow/brown piece of package people have when they deliver goods.. hope you get what I'm trying to say =x
Please let me know, thanks smile.gif
*
If you're near a poslaju centre...you can just bring your item you want to post...no need wrapping or anything since will put your stuff in a courier bag. But as a safety precaution...it is a good practice to securely wrap your stuff (using box, bubble wrap or any kind of padding and then wrap with brown paper or what ever paper or envelope you have) especially if you are sending something fragile.

Small poslaju counter in some post office usually don't have courier bags so you need to pack and wrap your stuff before they can accept your stuff for delivery.

Don't forget to fill in the poslaju form too! biggrin.gif

Poslaju starts only with ED or EN...LX or LE should be pos ekspres if I'm not mistaken...someone can correct me if I'm wrong. CD is usually for e-parcel and RD for pos daftar smile.gif
