should still be the same. I have sms from 2008 from my previous phone transferred over (yes, I do not sms much and also I do not delete old sms  )

yes I agree. but for huge files like music or photos can be done manually via USB mass storage transfer (and very easily also). For things that can't be done manually (or at least not as straightforward - like sms, call logs), "Switch" is the best way.

erm... dunno leh. for me, I dun bother to backup. just transfer cukup. So "Switch" is good enough for me.

if you are transferring from a nokia phone, you can use "Switch"

Go to > Control Panel > Switch (for E72)

just switch it on for both phones and follow the instructions
