i checked with digi customer center, and apparently it's not the sim card problem according to the staff, it might due to the phone. the staff did experienced the same problem with E71 and changed new sim card but to no vail.

Now im using GSM network only instead of  dual network until i find a solution.

tools--> settings --> phone --> network --> network mode... change la to gsm or utms
GSM = normal
UTMS = 3G

mine is running garmin ver 5.00.50 on my e71 smoothly 
n i even change the voice in the garmin to sedara 
her voice is so 
i bet when u r using it u might wet ur pants 

yeah, it stops halfway..luckily it didnt corrupt my current firmware..then im forced to go service centre 

does the ovi suite or nokia pc suite supports MAC?

i don't think it supports mac.

could u giv us the link so its easier for mac users to download it
or r u talking abt mac running boot camp to use ovi... 

Hi All E72 Owner; Just want to say small thing about our E72....IT HAS IT OWN BRAIN INTELLIGENTLY WORKING ON IT OWN.....

For example; when the battery at low but not yet give warning, it will shut down or stop some function that will drain battery power, for example the WIFI function and E-mail will not always connected. No matter how u do it it will only connected when we do sent/receive than back to disconnect. This behavior will be back to normal when we charge the battery.
I think the are more function/application that will not function as the way we want during low battery....

E72 TRULY A SMART PHONE, VERY VERY SMART   

i m E72 owner too,just bought it 2 weeks ago..
overall for me the phone is great.
but i encountered 1 problem is,when i use Nokia browser to surf net,the * key is zoom in and the # key is zoom out (or vice-versa)..
i found tat the # key become no function in browser,i cant zoom out,until i changed the short cut key to 8,then press 8 can zoom out d,but the # still no function..i factory reset d also the same...i updated to the newest firmware d also same..but in normal sms text ,the # is function 1..just the shortcut key for # in browser not function..

Any idea?
