No luck in PJ. The Indonesian press are reporting the launch of the E72 tomorrow at the Ritz Carlton in Jakarta though.

Welp, the only questions that I really wanna ask is when will it hit the stores here and how much does it cost?
Is yours a prototype or production unit. |

With a 600MHz processor, it should be as snappy if not snappier than the iPhone.

if it's rm1900, does it worth to fork out extra RM 700 ~ 800 compared to e71??
i am thinking of getting e71 if no significant difference... |

QUOTE(rockstar teddy @ Sep 15 2009, 03:10 PM) the prob is if it's really RM1900, the price is almost the same with an iphone 3g. and you know how fast iphone is i think the 600mhz should see quite an improvement over the e71 unless they really mess up the symbian os or loaded with extremely heavy graphics. From youtube videos it seems okay, but im not sure on real life usage issit good enough? |

QUOTE(johnm @ Sep 15 2009, 07:25 PM) hows the battery life? u've had a good 3 day use...and the other questions as above...overall phone performance, speed, etc.. erm i m always on 3g so i cant test how long it can actually go. but overall the phone is very snappy as predicted. Just pickup the E52 and you can roughly guess how an e72 will handle. it's the same exactly just that the E72 has some "graphical transitions" between menus (no way to disable). The graphics from this phone is just like any other symbian phone, nothing special and to me it's very "rough". Iphone graphics is like heaven, so dont compare. Unless you want a very nice graphic enhanced phone (iphone or N900), this phone is a damn good function packed device. no more "lousy camera but it is a E series" excuses! Btw, did i mention it has "Flip to silent" and "Flip to snooze" function too?? |

Browsing web sites like lowyat's front page with all flash turned on, when dragging it around the screen it feels very laggy for my 5800. Is E72 smooth?Flip to snooze and flip to silent already have in 5800 |
