Hmmm...Last week, at lunch time the volume was 1.32 billion....Today near closing the volume is 1.32 billion....
So the volume is actually quite low...Leads me to believe all the gorengers and weak heart folks went on panic sell. Now depends on how the other exchanges fare. If good, and US up tonight, we probably looking at green pastures tomorrow. This post has been edited by VyvernS: Jun 16 2009, 04:17 PM |

QUOTE(panasonic88 @ Jun 16 2009, 04:24 PM) So does it mean that you can get 12-13% div on this?Assuming share price is $6, then 0.3/6 = 5% Treasury share is 1:14, so 7% Total is 7+5 = 12% ? --> Correct ah? Wait, wait....got another thread on this...I go check out maybe answer is there.... This post has been edited by VyvernS: Jun 16 2009, 04:29 PM |

QUOTE(omores @ Jun 16 2009, 04:40 PM) That is only if you can look at crystal globe and make sure your timing is 100% correct. FKLI no choice but got to trade daily or on every 2 days. I keep this as a reminder to reduce In & Out....Its just an advice written by cherroy a few threads back. Thanks, cherroy! I trade with more discipline nowadays. For me, I'll just sow seeds and harvest later Quote cherroy: Statiscally, it is 49-51, You forgot the 1% commission (2 transaction of buy and sell). So you know your chance of winning through 49% repeatively, the more you go in and out (more trade), the chance of winning become lesser and lesser. Unless one is very good in it to defy the odd. Yes, some do, but not many, very few people succeeding in doing it over the long term. So the underlying is, don't go in and out too often, chance of winning become lesser as above and commission will kill you. Better spot the chance and assess the situation correct, then only making the bet. One of the most successful hedge fund manager George Soros also doesn't go in and out too often, he will only make the move and in big when seeing opportunity. No opportunity just watch. I know alot of you guys like free money as do I but alot of people have this fundamental flaw that they need action all the time. When market up they play, when market down they play and when market is sideways also they play. This addictiveness and the need to play and speculate (which is bad in the first place) will bring you a long term negative bottom line guys. Learn when to stay put. If market down but some stocks have mild playings, doesn't mean you need to enter... |

QUOTE(chyaw @ Jun 16 2009, 05:18 PM) If oil price shoot up to US$100 in these few months, I'll sell it at market price. Actually, I'll clean up all my holdings if this happens. Hmmm.....I waiting for the div to ex den monitor how the counter will go. Try to be greedy and get the win-win situation...Eat dividend and sell at cantik price. If oil price at current range ($60-$80), I'll hold until economy recovers. Yeah, I'm very boring, always repeat what I said... I could have sold last week at $0.955, but stubbornly hold on because I bought for the dividends. So i stick to the plan. Many times I stray away from my plan, and I lose more than I would have gained had I followed my plan. Hopefully, this time the plan for Sealink works..haha... |

QUOTE(danmooncake @ Jun 17 2009, 09:23 AM) Was that the day of the bonus issue? I think it was.It used to be RM0.5x then went all the way up to $1.18. Bonus 4:5 issued and it went back down to RM0.53. Now is up and up again. And beginning of June, moved to Main Board. |

QUOTE(naz_b_85 @ Jun 17 2009, 09:36 AM) Must remember that this is exactly what happened to Dow last night. Market tried to establish a bullish tone of bargain hunting but in the end it stagnated and couldn't push higher and after traders decided it was difficult to go higher, they started selling after mid market and it ended up with a -100 lost. So be careful I agree....Need to be vigilant. But we have certain agencies capable of ensuring that we do not follow Dow(n) trend, and perhaps that gives a lot of investors hope to go in. They were missing on Monday & Tuesday....Perhaps they will show BOLEH power today. |
