Thinking of soundproofing my preve. Can you quote me these two:

1. floorpan + front bulkhead between passenger and engine compartment + bonnet

2. floorpan + front bulkhead between passenger and engine compartment + bonnet + 4 doors + wheel arches

Which of the above two will filter out most *road and engine noise* - my main concerns?

And, I get a quote of 4000+ to use STP for whole car including roof? Is it good deal?

4000+ STP whole car ah? I dunno good deal or not because I only sell materials, I don't provide installation.

My suggestion to you is, do part by part and see if it will be able to deal with your problem/concern.

For engine and road noise, try fender soundproof first.

You can try my fender package or since you are already into STP, then can try STP Mastic (which I do not have).

I can tell you more on how to combine my fender package with STP Mastic. Definitely kill all front tire noise.

Preve is new n the cabin soundproofing comparable to vios which i also drive, but the engine noise louder n also got some "woo woo" noise from rear when going from high speed to low speed - those are the noise i want to rid of, and also the road noise.

I trust u expert. So fender soundproofing good to mute both engine n front tire noise (only front tire?) is it? How much is ur package for preve?

And one more thing is if I buy from u, u provide instruction right I'm really newbie.

I do ship to Sarawak, but postage is always a turn off for interested buyer. But anyway, the price is always the same lar... not like shops in Sarawak selling soundproof materials any cheaper.

My fender soundproof is only for front. As for the back, I only suggest to use Flex Mat and HoodLiner for noise insulation.

Fender soundproof DO NOT mute engine noise, I'm just advicing to do part by part. If you are sure to do engine insulation, then HoodLiner with Foil is the best for engine noise.
Or maybe you want to do firewall vibration dampening first. This normally I would suggest to do with whole floor pan soundproof.

All boil down to your budget.

If it is me, I will do fender soundproof then floor pan soundproof. Don't forget to do sound insulation for floor pan too.

Roof dampen with propad,then cover with insulflex 10mm.

Front hood can try hoodliner with or without foil.

You may just apply Dampening materials on that layer. How many pieces would depend on how much you wish to spend.

But please do note that Satria door will require additional material compare to normal sedan/hatchback, because it is very obvious the door is longer.

is this quality ok? i just want something good to keep my old myvi quiet le. so juz browsing around for something cheap. can u recommend me? if possible wan to lessen the big lorry pass sound and engine noise. evyday go work. my company trucks pass so loud.

last thing but not so important is tyre noise. have pothole or pass other stuff can hear tyre. hope can help me. fyi + postage to sarawak
