Bro I want I set of noise plug. As for the Flex Mat, I only want to do the outer part(as shown in the photo) on the first page of this thread...how many pieces do I require for all for doors?
*
Noise plug is fine. But I really have no idea how many pieces of Flex Mat you will need.

Can you measure the size of the door for me? The Flex Mat is 8" by 4 feet.

btw, which photo?

Flex Mat and Propad are 2 different materials.

For inner door, to apply easily I would suggest Propad. Myvi normally need 4 boxes or 5 boxes. up to you....

That would depend where you have applied the "deadening stuff". Open cell deadening stuff?

Basically i want to apply on my door top of my deadening stuff.. as i know dampening material is like kind of sponge type and slightly thicker than deadening material.. referring to your guide, deadening is block sound and dampening is absorb right? so i need to know flex mat is similar like STP SPL?

I think you have gotten the concept wrong. You should dampen first, then only deaden.

You cannot apply dampening materials on top of deadening. Dampening should be directly onto the source of vibration.

Flex Mat = STP Silver, not STP SPL.

If our terms on the materials are the same, then yes. Dampening first then only deadening.

No issue on myvi, but let's be clear on where you want to apply first.

Since I have Flex Mat and Propads, where do you intent to apply the dampening materials?

Propad is for the inner door. (Please check the picture in 1st page for more on where to apply pads.)

Flex Mat is everywhere also can apply.

I think you will need to dampen first, then only apply absorption material.

My only absorption materials is the HoodLiner.
