last saturday i've installed the fender soundproof kit. now no need to increase audio volume when driving highspeed.
but now that the fender noise eliminated, i can hear noises from the engine, wind noise from door and trunk/rear wheel arch

quite satisfied with the result, next is doors and trunk, but will be quite expensive. do u think better door rubbers will improve the NVH?

Yup... That's what I have explained to you earlier.

The rubber will only reduce wind sound, how much on NVH I have no idea... but you can try.

I would use it on the plastic. But dampen the plastic first, before cover with insulflex. 6mm is enough, 10mm insulflex is too hard to bend and your door might not be able to close back.

Don't put it on the metal, it will absorb the speaker sound.

Hi Bro, what do you recommend to do reduce noise for Perodua Alza? i'm thinking to do sound proofing for 4 door, third row floor and engine compartment. Can you recommend me what pad to use? Also where does this fender pad applied to? do i need that as well?

Yes, the fenders package suit Vios.

For front bonnet, you may choose between HoodLiner or HoodLiner with aluminium foil (Aluminium Foil use as penebat haba).

I have experienced 1 Alza personally. Done front and rear fenders, 4 doors with Pads and front flooring only.

I never really tested a Alza for long period, so I cannot really comment on it. But you may try front doors only or front n rear fenders together.

How to do the doors will depend on your budget.

Aiya, I explain dy ma laugh.gif .... HoodLiner with Aluminium is just an additional layer of aluminium, so the aluminium will work as heat shield. Because some cars after driven for a while, the front hood become very hot.

All HoodLiner comes with self-adhesive.

May I know which one would you prefer? But FYI in advance, postage to Sarawak (I'm assuming Kuching, because different town different price) will not be cheap. Because the box to fit in HoodLiner is more than 30cm.

1 sheet is enough for BLM whole hood. The size is 3x4 with self-adhesive.

Do 2 layer then cannot use Supp Pad, must use Flex Mat.

hmmmm.....

Don't worry, questions are welcome.

You can do that, if your front hood vibrates. Some have done that.

What is your budget? (I need to know to estimate the materials required, not to potong you. laugh.gif)

How many doors you plan to soundproof?
