Hello bro may i know how many Flex Mat need to use for 1 car
floor,door and bonet ( waja car ) ( satria ) thanks smile.gif
*
Waja and satria should require almost the same amount of the flex mat...

Floor~ should be around 15 flex mat

Door will depend on how many layers you plan to do.... 2 pieces for 1 layer....

Bonnet, what do you mean by this?

Can you suggest me soundproof material for following area:
1. Bonnet
KS> I'm assuming you are talking about front hood. Then you can use 1 piece of HoodLiner will do.

2. Door
KS>This will depend on how many layers you would prefer. Non-ICE, then you can do 2 layers
Total 4 doors = 2 x Propad, 2 x Suppression Pad and 4 x Flex Mat... And also insulflex, which I do not sell.

3. Cabin Floor (fron to back--meant "under firewall" to "under back seat"
KS>If you have heat gun, then you can use 2 x STP Visomat PB2. If not then you can use around 2 x Dampening Mat and 1 Noise Absorption Mat.
For firewall then you will 4~5 pieces of Flex Mat, but depend on what car you are driving. Waja size might need 5.
For the flooring, there are some specific area that PB2 or Dampening Mat cannot cover... If you wish to have it covered, then you might need ~6 x Flex Mat.

4. Trunk Area (floor, side&inner lid)
KS> 3~4 x STP Vibroplast or 4~5 x Flex Mat. These should cover the side as well, all depend on what car are you driving. Inner lid? No recommended, but if you want, then I need to know what car are you driving.

Im very particular in NOISE, but not ICE fever,Just wan2 make my car as quiet as possible.
KS> Soundproofing is not only for ICErs, normal daily usage will be very helpful too... The less NVH you have in your car, then less tense you will have driving it daily.

Pls give the best solution& price too..
KS> Solution provided. Price is on the first page, negotiable depend on which package that you are going for.

It will depend on how many layer you plan to do... and what material you would prefer....

Normally I recommend 2 layers. Using Propad/Suppression Pad and Flex Mat/Insulflex.

Would advice you to budget how much you plan to spend.... smile.gif

any deadening/dampening material is suitable for door?similiar to Insudamp? self adhesive?

how many is enough for 4 door single layer? how much?
*
If you want something like InsuDamp, then Flex Mat is the same kind dampening material.

2 pieces for 1 layer...4 doors will require 8 pieces.

But if you purely want deadning, actually Propad or Suppression Pad is sufficient... At least that is what I would do.

bro, your product 'tahan air' one? how if car got leakage then water puddling underneath carpet on the product, will effect the adhesive?
*
If the bitumen one, yes.
If the foam one, no.
And I do not recommend to apply foam with adhesive on the floor, due to the same reason.

If your car got leakage, why not you fix first then only soundproof?

i really wanna lower down the noise alot.
how much diff will it do.
the mats u recommend lo.
fender etc i can do myself also
use CA glue?
*
Enough difference to know that this is what soundproof can reduce the noise for your car.

My materials no need ca glue. Why wanna suffocate yourself with ca glue when there are other cheaper and same application method, while using the same materials?

My Chevrolet Captiva need to cut down noise from Engine (Diesel ma), and may be tyre noise. Seems like doors are ok.

What would u recommend me to use? Can easily DIY one.
I stay at Puchong too, can we meet up when u r free so that u can show me some example?

Thanks : )

what is the cotton mat made for? for sound absortion purpose? i did 2 layer raaamt d. wan apply 3rd layer. is it suitable? i should apply at door trim?
*
Hi, sorry...cotton mat is not available at the moment. I will substitude it with HoodLiner instead.

HoodLiner can be applied on door trim, 1 x HoodLiner enough for 2 door trim. It comes with self-adhesive, it is 10mm thick and open-cell.
