essien was awesome and i think drogba deserved to stay until the game ends. he doesnt look very pleased when he was called off instead of anelka. i for one think that drogs was on better form compared to anelka. anelka should have been subbed. if there was a need, which there wasnt. maybe carlo just wanted kalou to have some playing time. he was so relaxed, sitting on the gatorade ice box. lol.

overall, i think the whole team did great. our midfield was really solid, winning back possession and so creative on the attack. in short, we owned the midfield. the only player i saw lacking was belletti. and maybe anelka he should have got us an early goal when he went one on one with jensen. have to give jensen credit though. he's a real tough keeper to beat.

players that get my praise are lamps with those two assist and drogba who caused all the mayhem up front. and as usual our fullbacks were as good as they always are.
