Turn on FTP and NAS at Xtreamer Pro Setting, see if it works?

Lost of HDMI audio, there is no sound at all from Xtreamer Pro to TV, I have changed its default setting, changing three options of sound system, changing HDMI cable but yet the sound did not return.

TV no problem as I still can hear audio via HDMI cable from Astro.

Any suggestion/advise is much appreciated? Or I need to bring back the unit for checking as it's under warranty.

Thx for prompt reply, I will try again when the unit get cooler, as when I unplug the HDMI on Pro site, it's moderately hot and abnormal.

Hmm, looks like HDMI (audio) is dead, HDMI (video) is still ok.

Temporary solution: Disable HDMI audio (Off), connect RCA cables to RCA jack (HDMI side).

I did and mentioned in my earlier post.

Don't think it's firmware 2.7 problem, as I have used this version since its launch with no problem; furthermore, I have reinstalled firmware 2.7 last Sunday, HDMI audio problem persists.

Thanks for your response, I have verified every single setting, it's confirmed HDMI audio giving problem, there's no problem previously with firmware 2.7 since it launched early this year.

I have sent back my Xtreamer Pro before Raya, still haven't get back mine. Don't know what happen ...

Why you say so? I love the FW 3.0 who can support Airplay, integrated with iOS 5, facebook ? (not working in FW 2.7 though)

Airplay not supported yet for Xtreamer Pro, is facebook working now for 2.7 Xtreamer Pro? It didn't work last time, will try ...

It's sad there is not much development firmware for Xtreamer Pro, while Xtreamer come out with new product, they should not neglect its firmware support . Otherwise, ppl will loose faith and switch to other reliable and supportive manufacturer. I surveyed previouslyon its firmware update and support before I purchased Xtreamer (and not WD, AC Ryan, etc.) , but the development of firmware has been stagnant since early this year.

I saw Xtreamer Developer posted in the Xtreamer official forum mentioning that there's lot of competitors especially from China, in order to be competitive in this market, Xtreamer should not only look into new product line but also continue support on firmware and not just hang it there and expect its existing customer to buy new Xtreamer Product, the firmware support at least should last for three generations like iPhone or 5 years.

while waiting for FW 3.0 for old model Xtreamer, please take a look on MyXLive (Beta) from Xtreamer forum at http://forum.xtreamer.net/topic/24396-myxlive/

Follow the step-by-step guide of the above link, you should able to watch most of the live streaming tv channels, mostly news channels, movie and sport channels not working though at the moment.

If you have HSBB, it's will add on playing streaming video.

Sorry for late reply suying, I was wondering too how to flip page by page but have no clue, perhaps this 3rd party apps is not strictly for Xtreamer product?

If you check forum Xtreamer, there are 3rd party apps, like XLive, MyXLive, follow the step by step instruction, you will able to add them into your Xtreamering (please copy/backup your folder) please note not all channels can be watched as either broken link or not support by our local ISP. Happy Exploring

10 days ago, there was new update firmware 2.7.1 released for Xtreamer Pro. After upgrade, like AirPlay, you are able to stream wirelessly your video and photos from your iPad/iPhone to TV via Xtreamer. Have fun

I am not too sure if it works for Xtreamer SW2, but try again the steps as my post earlier.

a) Copy the attached zipped file into your PC/Mac, then unzip them. (rolled back to my post dated 7 June 2011 ) for the zip file,
b) Using FTP, copy the 'index.php' into your Xtreamer's subfolder,i.e. script/xtreamering folder. ( I did backup of my entire xtreaming folder in case it did not work )
c) Then copy the two image files into script/xtreamering/image
d) Restart your Xtreamer
e) Go to Xtreamering, you should able to see 'Chinese TV' on the first line of your Xtreamering left hand menu.
f) You should able to see the menu of Chinese TV.

Or for (b), you can go to /user/sda1/script/xtreamering folder, use text editor to edit index.php, (make sure you backup the index.php by rename like index1.php, in case it doesn't work),

type the following text in the index.php, make sure you know where to cut the following text and paste it, the most important is the link, i.e. http://ims.haoims.com

Again, use text editor, open the index.php

check<itemid> number </itemid> make sure they are in order.

No problem, enjoy man, with UNIFI, the Chinese TV channels are nice, but few channels are not able to watch though. Have fun exploring those watchable channels, movie, drama etc.

Please post the xfacebook (weblink), mine doesn't work since day 1. May be only Xtreamer SW2 can support xfacebook as your firmware is version 3 and above, Xtreamer Pro still on firmware 2.7.1

This Chinese TV is by 3rd party, I got it from official Xtreamer.net forum.

But there is not much talking about this topic now, you may search if there is other forum talking about the same or other chinese tv for xtreamer and post the link here to share.
