but at least it has a design on it...which is the main reason why the mantis still somehow outsells the goliathus alpha.

QUOTE(azrinarizz @ Aug 1 2009, 10:32 PM) Thanks i think if u read my review, or even anyone who has the megalodon...they will only agree 50% with u.I feel the sound is nearly the same as the barracuda in 7.1, sound may be the same...but remember barracuda is only 5.1. and in 2.0 mode the megalodon will destroy the barracuda in terms of playing music. |

QUOTE(blacktrix @ Aug 2 2009, 11:11 PM) Ok..... finally got a chance to test out the Megalodon properly. u shouldve bought the mako first before the megalodon. One word. Amazing. Actually, 3 words...... Absolutely F'ing amazing. Comfortable, good response in the 3 things I do most on my PC...... Music, Movies and Gaming..... Watching back my HD Movies with surround sound is truly a new experience. If this is the level of audio quality from Razer, I'm now SERIOUSLY considering the Mako...... still duwan to listen to me? |

QUOTE(selinix @ Aug 5 2009, 02:19 PM) like the lachesis, the jitter is caused by not enough space between the pad and sensor...design flaw / not enough testing / whatever.so the ring is to attempt to increase the clearance space of the mouse so the sensor sits higher. thats why it also works better on hard pads. |

QUOTE(KhmerTRD @ Aug 5 2009, 05:40 PM) im using mamba with destructor now. and i have a problem which is something stuck stck on the mousepad. i dont know wheather mamba or destructor. but sometimes stuck and sometimes smooth. dont understand your problem.anyone know wat is the problem? and how to solv tat? is it friction so u feel drag? is it the cursor stopping but mouse still moving? QUOTE(igor87 @ Aug 5 2009, 07:27 PM) Maybe the corners of the battery cover is protruding and they're dragging along the mousepad. if i recall, someone else here also had the same thing with the battery cover. The battery cover is fine on both my Mambas but previously Everdying had the said problem with his review unit. i didnt bother to check the pc fair units simply cos i didnt bother about the mamba |

QUOTE(G_KeN @ Aug 5 2009, 07:36 PM) Actually, my unit also got the same battery cover problem thingy. k, so ur the 3rd person then but yea, its not game changing...but it does get irritating if you use it on a cloth pad. on a hardpad its not really noticeable. |

QUOTE(KhmerTRD @ Aug 5 2009, 08:59 PM) the cursor is fine while im moving mouse.. my problem is tat when i move mouse i feel friction, is not smooth when moving mouse. im not sure is mouse or mousepad. but sometimes is smooth and sometimes isnt.. most probably i guess its the battery cover again.and one more thing any possible way to adjust megalodon sound higher coz i feel not enuff. especially bas. i turned all to max level de.. and sound level? i could adjust it very loud. the obvious question of cos is is your windows level set high or not? |

QUOTE(TomatomanzSeedlezz @ Aug 8 2009, 03:40 PM) Hmmm... using normal AA akaline batteries yea it doesnt charge.Does this means it doesn't have charging feature?.. or am i missing something here.. Not to mentioned, same price as Razer "Laichee".. which its us$79.99. but of cos in wired mode u turn the mouse off. first and foremost, this mouse is meant to be space saving with an option for gaming when needed, ie. for those who travel alot for meetings but still want something that wont break down while gaming on their laptops. those who want a proper gaming mouse, look elsewhere. the cable is also just under 1m long - by that u already know who its target is. price wise? well look at other travelling mouses from logitech or microsoft and u see its similarly priced...just whether it can game or not... also a slide i have says it has a battery life indicator...tho i cant seem to see any...all i see is just a blue lighted scroll wheel...im guessing its a mistake. i also need a manual since the mouse, cable and pouch is all i got. this mouse also has synapse, but im not sure how to change the profile settings without drivers...guess have to try numerous button combos on the mouse to figure it out. i just hope its not the mamba's way of changing profiles. |

the mouse plays a more important part than whatever mat you're using for gaming.
if you're not comfortable holding whatever mouse you're using, the best mat in the world also cant help you much if you cant aim properly with the mouse. |
